I am a visiting assistant professor in the department of political science at Brigham Young University. I specialize in Ancient Greek philosophy with a focus on Plato. Like Plato, I have diverse interests ranging from philosophy of language to political philosophy. In fact, I like to study this eclectic aspect of Plato’s thought--specifically, how he engages the various intellectual traditions that preceded him.

I am also passionate about environmental philosophy.
