I am a PhD candidate in Philosophy at the University of Michigan, where I work on early modern philosophy. I am writing a dissertation on 'Early Modern Dualism and Unities of Consciousness', with Tad Schmaltz as the chair of my committee.

I am also the sitting Chair of the Graduate Student Council of the American Philosophical Association and the former President of the British Postgraduate Philosophy Association. I hold an undergraduate degree (summa cum laude) in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame and a master’s degree (distinction) in ancient philosophy from the University of Oxford (Hertford College).
