Sebastián Murgueitio Ramírez

I am an Assistant Professor in Philosophy at Princeton University. From 2022 to 2025, I was an Assistant Professor in Philosophy at Purdue University. Before that, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Oxford. I graduated with a PhD in the History and Philosophy program at the University of Notre Dame the year before (where I also completed a Master’s in physics). I work primarily on the philosophy of symmetries, the metaphysics of science and the history of physics (with a focus on the 20th century).
