I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy of Science, History of Science, Metaphysics, and Philosophy of Mind at the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have been mainly concerned with problems and challenges in the philosophy of neuroscience. In particular, I am curious about the new mechanical philosophy, the design stance in neuroscience, and the relations between biological modeling and human nature. I mostly rely on conceptual analysis and case studies. Nowadays, I am interested in the multiple realizability thesis, consciousness, and crucial experiments in neuroscience.
