My work in bioethics, broadly construed, is organized around questions of non-ideal subjectivity in medicine across three dimensions of phenomenality: corporeality, futurity, and temporality. I examine these dimensions through work on cosmetic procedures (especially cosmetic gynecology), assisted reproductive technologies (especially egg freezing), and the structure of traumatic experiences (especially PTSD/C-PTSD). My earlier publications in philosophy of education were developed during my doctoral training and supported by funded research projects.
