I recently received my doctorate in philosophy at Indiana University Bloomington. I work in philosophy of astronomy, space exploration, and environmental philosophy. I am particularly interested in space policy, as well as epistemic and methodological aspects of data-driven science. My dissertation was titled, "An Epistemology of Data-Driven Astronomy and Astrophysics." I recently completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Stanford's McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society and the Doerr School of Sustainability. I am currently a Science and Technology Policy Fellow for the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
