My main interests these days involve work in public philosophy focused on deliberations about polarized science policies and the "peace literacy" skills needed to help those deliberations go more smoothly. This work is meant as a practical application and extension of my earlier work on identifying the evidence for various political values at play in science. Identifying the politics and evidence in their support is one thing, deliberating across increasingly polarized differences is another. The latter is hard and requires a kind of training for which most of us (for any "us" I'll wager) get little preparation. Onward!
