My name is Shené de Rijk. I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Johannesburg and I am affiliated to the African Centre for Epistemology and Philosophy of Science (ACEPS). I did my honours and masters research in the field of applied ethics. My doctoral project aims to look at the phenomenon of toxic positivity in the context of social epistemology.
