I am a translation theorist, philosopher and teacher. I write on: Ethics, Political Philosophy, the Philosophy of Thought, Philosophy of Language, Translation Theory, Philosophy of Religion and Asian Philosophy---especially Indian Philosophy. I'm interested in methodological questions that bear on studying philosophy. I'm especially interested in what traditions of moral philosophy that are colonially depicted as non-existent, specifically the South Asian tradition, can teach us about moral philosophy.
