I'm a professor of German Linguistics at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf. I'm generally interested in the conditio humana (philosophical anthropology, philosophy of culture & symbol philosophy from a methodical culturalist point of view) and try to pin down the bodily, symbolic, cognitive, and social bases of language and grammar in particular.
