Simone Luigi Migliaro

I am currently a DAAD PRIME Fellow at Humboldt University of Berlin (Germany) and the University of Toronto (Canada). Previously, I was a Research Fellow at the University of L’Aquila. I earned my Ph.D. in 2024 through a joint supervision agreement between the University of Salerno (Italy) and the University of Münster (Germany). My research focuses primarily on late medieval logic and semantics, with particular emphasis on their intersections with epistemological and ontological issues. My current project studies fourteenth-century theories of singular terms and considers their broader philosophical significance in light of contemporary analytic philosophy. Since January 2025, I have also served as Secretary of the Società Italiana per lo Studio del Pensiero Medievale (SISPM).
