Sinovuyo Jack

I am a currently pursuing a MA (Coursework) Philosophy degree at The University of Witwatersrand. I have an Honours (philosophy) degree from The University of KwaZulu Natal. My undergraduate (BA Cognitive Science) degree was also completed in Durban at UKZN. My Master's research proposal, on "The Metaphysics of Racial Hate Crimes/Offenses by Police Officers in South Africa" has been submitted for approval. During my coursework, i have written papers on Persnhood, Africanzation of the educational curriculum by unviserties in Africa as a de-colonisation strategy and "The African Philosophy debate" in African Philosophy. I have also written papers on the metaphysics of Autonomy; personal identity, modality and causation. I enjoy philosophical research of the involvement of Distributed Sensemaking in the military: particularly on the need for synchronized and coordinated mechanisms in military strategies and military technologies through the evaluation of human cognitive processes and the development of new artillery fire-control equipment and procedures. This is an example of my interests in technology and Artifical Intelligence. I have a growing passion for political science and international relations, particularly in the part of intelligence and research analysis regarding state security. I am a curious mind that is always willing to learn, because knowledge is power... and power is being the best version of yourself possible.
