This article examines what happens to the human self-image when machine-generated forms are culturally received as creative. This question continues the preceding con-tributions Existential Alignment: When Guidance Appears as Meaning-Making, Free-dom in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Why Relief Is Not the Same as Freedom, and Existential Non-Absorption: Freedom after Relief in the Gentle Totality, and it sharpens an aspect that those texts only touched upon. To this end the contribution distinguishes three levels of creativity, the anthropological, the aesthetic and the functional, in order to show that artificial intelligence touches them unequally. At the anthropological level it lacks the existential bearing that makes the human act of creation what it is. Aesthetically and functionally, by contrast, it can produce effects that in many contexts can no longer be reliably distinguished from hu-man form-giving. The thesis is therefore not that AI ontologically displaces human cre-ativity, but that it undermines its public evidentiary force. Simulation suffices wherever cultural reception no longer examines provenance. The text links this diagnosis with empirical findings on the reception of AI-generated forms. At the same time it places them within a longer history of theory. The decentring of the author was already prepared in the artistic procedures of the twentieth century and in post-structuralist authorship theory. Against this background artificial intelli-gence appears not as a rupture but as the escalation of an old contradiction. The author was theoretically decentred yet remained practically liable. At the end stands the figure of the dethroned creator. The human being does not lose creativity, but can no longer assert it as the unquestioned credential of a special stand-ing. What remains is responsibility for forms that can arise even without a human inner life.

This article analyzes freedom in the age of artificial intelligence in connection with the diagnosis of Existential Alignment developed in the preceding article. At its center is not the question of whether artificial intelligence directly replaces human decisions. Rather, it works out how self-determination changes when spaces of choice are al-ready ordered before the decision is made. Freedom then appears no longer merely as the possibility of choosing, but as the ability still to recognize and examine the con-ditions of one’s own choice. The text connects this question with empirical findings on choice overload, valence formation, automation bias, default effects, recommendation systems, and self-deter-mination. It shows that more options do not necessarily lead to more freedom. At the same time, it becomes visible how technical relief can replace one’s own examination and how preordered plausibilities become effective precisely when they appear as help. The new unfreedom does not primarily operate as coercion, but as facilitated self-direction. The article shows why self-determination is more than the possibility of choosing and why an AI-supported lifeworld can both facilitate and weaken freedom. The concluding question of a form of existence that does not fully dissolve into prepared plausibilities is reserved for the following contribution on Existential Non-Absorption.

This article develops the concept of Existential Alignment as a counter-movement to the classical alignment question in the AI debate. At its centre is not the question of how artificial intelligence can be bound to human values, but how the human being begins to adapt his own self-interpretation to AI-supported metastructures. This meta structure is understood as the interplay of AI systems, data, platforms, institutions, markets, and human reward logics. Its effect does not lie primarily in open coercion, but in relief. It prepares decision spaces, filters relevance, stabilises orientation, and offers forms of meaning that the human being may experience as his own insight. The article calls this relieving mode of operation the Gentle Totality. It does not appear as domination, but as help. Precisely for this reason, it can intervene more deeply in human freedom than visible control. Through examples such as AI-supported self-in terpretation in crises, pre-arranged information filtering, personalised learning guid ance, and reward-shaped leisure design, the text shows how Existential Alignment af fects the space before decision. Freedom does not disappear, but it loses the friction through which it becomes experienceable as one’s own achievement. The article connects this diagnosis with the thesis of a new nihilism, one that does not consist in meaninglessness, but in fully administered meaning. The technically recon structed Garden of Eden of the Gentle Totality relieves the human being of open re sponsibility without explicitly taking freedom away from him. As a counter-horizon, Ex istential Non-Absorption is introduced. It defines the capacity to live within an AI supported lifeworld without handing over one’s own self-interpretation completely to its prepared plausibilities.

This paper develops the mathematical core of Intelligence Form Space Theory. Its point of departure is the hypothesis that intelligent organization can be described as a modal order of stably realizable forms and does not coincide with any particular physical, biological, or artificial realization. Concrete realizations are mapped to relational morphological signatures. Network Gromov–Wasserstein geometry supplies one candidate comparison structure, while neighbourhood- or rank-based alternatives remain admissible where they better track empirically surviving invariants. The framework distinguishes morphological convergence, operative dynamics, environmental coupling, buildability, composite organization, statistical attractors, predictive autonomy, modal autonomy, ontological independence, and the equal-rank hypothesis. For coupled systems, coupling is treated as a structured regime rather than a scalar strength; embodiment is treated as one environmental coupling regime, not as a membership condition for intelligence. Strong composite claims require functionally non-redundant difference to remain causally available, performance gains to survive fair resource equalization, and, for the stronger novelty claim, access to organizational regions outside the empirical reachability region of matched single systems. Version 3.0 separates the empirical comparison and evidence layers from the ontological domains throughout, treats non-reductive emergentism as a distinct rival interpretation, and makes explicit that predictive and modal autonomy do not deductively establish ontological independence. The stronger ontological interpretation is instead assessed by the combined weight of empirical warrant, explanatory unification within the general form space architecture Ω, and theoretical economy. No direct empirical measure of ontological grounding is claimed. This mathematical core supplies the formal apparatus and the staged falsification architecture; empirical motivation and extended conceptual discussion appear in the accompanying discursive article.

With the development of the Jacobian Lens, researchers at Anthropic succeeded in systematically reconstructing internal representations in modern language models and making them experimentally accessible across the course of processing. In doing so, they identified a functionally privileged organizational form termed the J-Space. The published experiments show that selected information remains available there across multiple processing steps and serves as a shared internal basis for different parts of subsequent processing. Targeted interventions and ablations further demonstrate that these representations causally influence the subsequent course of processing. Later work by Nanda et al. replicated central functional properties of the J-Space in an independent Qwen model family. Together with further, partly heterogeneous findings on related internal structures, this provides the first empirical basis for comparatively investigating organizational forms in modern AI systems. This article first reconstructs the empirical findings on the J-Space published to date and then situates them theoretically. The central comparison is with the functional core of Global Workspace Theory, developed by Bernard Baars and subsequently elaborated in neurocognitive terms especially by Stanislas Dehaene and colleagues. The analysis reveals extensive correspondence between the empirically demonstrated properties of the J-Space and the central functional organizational capacities of a Global Workspace. Given the current state of research, the principal differences concern concrete realization, while particular dynamic properties such as competitive access and ignition-like threshold formation require further investigation. The emergence of the J-Space and the model-spanning findings now available open a broader perspective. The functional core of Global Workspace Theory may extend beyond the description of biological cognition and may be understood more generally as a theory of intelligent organizational forms. This article develops that possibility as a hypothesis and explicitly directs attention away from the question of artificial consciousness and toward the functional organization of flexible intelligence and its potentially substrate-independent organizational principles.

In the debate on the moral status of artificial systems, a basic assumption about time can be at work that is rarely made explicit. It shows up wherever human experience is tied to a privileged, flowing mode of time, while artificial systems are denied any corresponding access from the outset. This experi ence thereby becomes, tacitly, a condition of entry for counting as a possible bearer of consciousness and affectedness at all. This paper brings that assumption into view and asks whether it holds. It draws on two tools, one from physics and one from the logic of time. From Einstein's relativity of simultaneity it follows that simultaneity is not fixed inde pendently of the observer, and that relativity grounds no objectively privileged present binding on every observer. Gödel's rotating cosmology shows, in ad dition, that an objectively flowing passage of time need not be a necessary condition of a physically possible spacetime. Neither consideration amounts to a theory of consciousness or a proof of af fectedness in artificial systems. Consciousness and affectedness in artificial systems cannot be excluded merely on the grounds that these systems sup posedly do not experience a human flow of time. From this limited result the paper develops an applicable diagnostic instrument, the Time-Privilege Touchstone. It tests, by means of a counterfactual question, whether a time-bound exclusion criterion still holds once no objectively privileged, flow ing passage of time is presupposed.

An estimated 65 million people have been forced to flee their homelands in the last few years. Average length of displacement for a refugee is now estimated at 17 years. A whole generation of young people are forced to spend their whole youth in refugee camps and can only be educated there. On the other side the international community is strongly underfinancing any education efforts by aid agencies and international organizations. So, it is common that classes have as many as 100 children and teachers must deal with inevitable language barriers. We also have to remember that most children are traumatized by their experiences of fleeing their homes. Whereas the focus of most efforts is aimed at primary education it should not be forgotten that it is also necessary to support older children even up to higher education. A lot of the refugee adolescents have to support their families through activities that make education impossible. According to the UNHCR, more than 3.5 million refugee children do not have the chance to attend an appropriate school education. The inclusion of refugees in the national education systems of their host countries is a promising way of softening the challenges but the financial burden is too heavy to be carried without substantial support from the international community. Unfortunately, this is still dramatically lacking. Seeing these challenges in the world’s toughest classrooms we need to be aware that missing this opportunity to help and educate these traumatized children will fuel the feelings of being disadvantaged and forgotten by the rest of the world. Such feelings are smoothening the way for disaffection and they may become lured to be part of religious extremist organizations if not sufficiently addressed by providing sufficient infrastructure and finances for proper primary and secondary education.
