I am a retired neuromorphic engineer at UC San Diego with degrees in philosophy, psychology, and computer science. Working in Bioengineering and Neural Computation I have helped develop numerous systems for brain emulation and brain-machine interface.
Separately, I have decades in the study of consciousness and have given many conference presentations at neuroscience, consciousness, and engineering conferences and symposia. I am close to publishing on panpsychism and exposing weaknesses in the accepted approach to the philosophy of science as it pertains to finding a place for consciousness in the natural world.
