Stephen M. Downes

I am an Emeritus Professor, recently retired from the Philosophy Department at the University of Utah. Most of my work is in philosophy of science with special focus on philosophy of biology, philosophy of social science and models and modeling across the sciences. My most recent work focuses on philosophy of genetics, particularly human behavior genetics I was also an Adjunct Professor in the School of Biological Sciences at the University of Utah.
