T. Raja Rosenhagen

Raja Rosenhagen joined California State University, Fresno, as Assistant Professor of Philosophy in 2024. At Fresno State, his focus is on helping grow the Philosophy Department's program in Peace & Nonviolence Studies. Before coming to Fresno, he was a tenured Associate Professor of Philosophy at Ashoka University in Sonipat, Haryana (India), where he also served as Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and as Head of Department. Between his time in Sonipat and Fresno, Raja served as the University of Pittsburgh's inaugural Bhagawan Vasu Pujya Swami post-doctoral fellow in Jain Studies [while on leave from Ashoka]. His broad interests span Philosophy of Mind, Perception, Science, and Love, also Metaphysics, Epistemology, Moral Perception and Psychology, Philosophical Counseling, Cross-cultural Philosophy, and Indian Philosophy, especially Jain Philosophy.
