Tahmineh received her Ph.D. in Anatomical Sciences from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (2017). Then she worked as a Research fellow at the Institute of Psychology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She is currently employed as a faculty member at the Histology Department. Her research primarily examines the neurobiology of stress, particularly pain, and its connection to depression. Understanding the mechanisms underlying depression is crucial for developing targeted therapeutic interventions.
