I am a scholar of modern European philosophy, focusing on Hegel, Marx and their theoretic successors. I work to create trustworthy interpretations of historic philosophical positions, that are rich and accessible enough to dialogue with contemporary scholars as well as the general public, especially around questions of social and political philosophy.
Currently, I am an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow at the University of Münster, working on Marx's concept of subsumption.
