I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. My research in feminist philosophy focuses on the ethics and moral psychology of resisting oppression. I am particularly interested in the normative reasons victims have for (and against) resisting their oppression, what resistance entails for victims who are differently situated, and how conditions of oppression shape what it means to live a good and meaningful life.

I completed my Ph.D. at UNC Chapel Hill in 2019 under the supervision of Susan Wolf, Thomas E. Hill, Jr., and Bernard Boxill. Website: https://tamarafakhoury05.wixsite.com/tamarafakhoury
