I'm a faculty affiliate of the University of Montana psychology department, which allows me access to an amazing forum like this with holy scholars, who like my son are attempting to make sense of the disarray that devolved from evolution.
I have a BA in pre-professional psychology, a Master's degree in School Psychology, a Master's Degree (non-terminal) and PhD in Clinical Psychology all from the University of Montana (under my married name of Tami Eldridge, PhD). I did my Clinical Psychology Fellowship at Yale University. My Master's thesis involved examining a malingering test utilized in neuropsychological evaluations, called the Portland Digit Recognition Test. My doctoral dissertation examined the effect of parental inconsistency (and generally diminished social cause and effect) on psychological and behavioral adjustment and attachment (Effects of Respectful Parenting in Early Childhood on Young Adults' Attachment Style and Approach to Information Processing: Implications for Latent Inhibition, Contingency Perception and Behavioral Adjustment). While it was highly theoretical, with some little-examined constructs and measurement devices, we found some compelling results.
I'm an artist, gardener, musician, hiker, basketball player and writer, as well as an open-minded student of pithy commentary as I have found here at PhilPapers, which allows me to cope with my extensive history of loss and abuse. I'm Irish, English, Middle Eastern, Native American, Asian, Welsh and African in ethnic origin. I am a devout Catholic and the source of my strength is my faith in Jesus and GOD.
