Dr. Taraneh Javanbakht (ترانه جوانبخت) is an Iranian-Canadian scientist, inventor, philosopher, artist, writer, poet, translator, literary critic, peer reviewer, editor and human rights activist. Her philosophical system, netism, includes her innovative works in nine branches of philosophy such as metaphysics, logic, epistemology, analytical philosophy, ethics, political philosophy, philosophy of mind, philosophy of language and aesthetics. She has invented two new logics, tendential logic and correlational logic.
