I received my Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Alberta in 2022 and am currently a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Research Fellow at the University of Tokyo. I specialize in the history of early modern Western philosophy. I am currently working on a project to elucidate the importance of passion in Hume's epistemology.
