I received my Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Alberta in 2022 and am currently an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Doshisha University. I specialize in the history of early modern Western philosophy. I am currently working on a project to elucidate the importance of passion in Hume's epistemology.
