Досліджено особливості розвитку різних галузей економіки та специфіку функціонування малого і середнього бізнесу. Значну увагу приділено інноваційним підходам до управління бізнес-процесами та людським капіталом. Запропоновано науково обґрунтовані рекомендації щодо вдосконалення стратегічного управління та підвищення ефективності діяльності сучасних бізнес-структур в умовах динамічного ринкового середовища та посилення глобальної конкуренції. For a long time, the tourism industry was considered one of the economy’s lead- ing and most progressive sectors, characterized by an advanced scale of development. The situation was changed fundamentally by the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused significant losses at the global level, not only for tourism but also for all sectors of the economy and society. In this regard, the provision of this article identifies the nature of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on tourism in a particular country in the European region using cluster analysis. In the first stage of this work, a detailed literature review on the existence of such a connection was carried out with the help of bibliometric analysis. The authors used the results published in Scopus and Web of Science databases for the keywords «tourism», and «Covid-19» and analyzed the growth dynamics in their number and citations, belonging to the research area and the spread of geography. Building a bibliometric map of keywords based on their joint placement in the VOSviewer software complex deepened findings. It made it possible to form 10 clusters, each of which covers scientific works on various forms of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on tourism (for example, behavioral, marketing, economic, environmental, psychological aspects, etc.). In the second stage, an analytical review was conducted, which showed a significant drop in the absolute and apparent contribution of travel and tourism to GDP worldwide in 2020 and 2021 worsened with the pandemic level, and an increase in the dynamics of key indicators of the tourism industry in the world and across all UNWTO regions (especially Asia & Pacific). In the last step, a hierarchical agglomerative cluster analysis (with Ward’s method) was carried out for the countries of the European region (45 countries) based on indicators of the number of COVID-19 cases in the country (cumulative and new), vaccination of the population, the presence of restrictions on tourism, international tourist arrivals, and receipts, collection of tourism in exports. All indicators for analyzing the collected state are provided as of July 30, 2022, using the Stata SE 12 software complex. The construction of a dendrogram and the use of Calins- ki-Harabasz and Duda-Hart stopping rules made it possible to decide on the presence of 3 clusters that meet the conditions of this study and are characterized by different levels of adaptability to post-pandemic functioning and recovery direction.

The relevance of the study is due to the especially sharp of late issue of the competition in world markets, which requires strengthening of innovation component from the economy of any country, including Ukraine. Ukrainian enterprises with innovation activity are able to maintain high growth rate in the long term. The main component in the effectiveness and efficiency of carrying out innovative processes at an enterprise is its innovation potential, including professional staff that is quite difficult to estimate given the rapid changes of the fulfilled tasks. The purpose of writing this article is the analysis of existing approaches to the evaluation of the innovative potential of enterprises and their improvement taking into account the peculiarities of service enterprises, the formulation of the task of innovation management and the main directions of development of innovation potential of an enterprise. We applied system approach, methods of analysis and synthesis and the method of modeling when carrying out research. The task of innovation management of an enterprise was formulated. A methodological approach to the evaluation of the innovation potential of enterprises in the sphere of services is attached. This approach will allow the heads of the enterprises in the sphere of services to monitor creativity and collective intelligence of the employees, to assess an enterprise on innovation and make timely decisions to eliminate the deficiencies. It was stressed that special measurements, quantitative evaluation of the intellectual, professional, educational, and other qualitative characteristics of the potential of employees is quite a difficult task, to perform which the expert methods are used based on interviews, surveys of executives, business owners and prominent managers. The main directions of stimulating the development of the innovation potential of an enterprise were formulated. A conclusion was made that under current conditions, in the absence of perfect methods of evaluation of innovation potential of the services industry, review and comprehensive application of different methods proposed in economic literature will allow obtaining more reliable information for justified management decision–making regarding the management of the innovation potential of an enterprise, introducing relevant changes into the components of the innovation potential to ensure its adequacy to the set innovation goals and increasing a general level of competitiveness in the given industry and in the global market as a whole. The scientific novelty of the research lies in improving the methodological approach to the evaluation of the innovation potential of an enterprise on the basis of the complex of main indicators specific to services and consideration, during the evaluation of personnel, of the innovation potential of an enterprise. The proposed approach allows analyzing the level of innovation potential of enterprises in the different spheres of activity: production, services, state government, commercial and others, where the innovation potential acts not only as a set of available and adequately allocated resources, but also as approved management decision or immaterial object. Since under modern conditions we tackle dynamic market of goods and services and the businesses need to respond quickly to these variable factors of influence, further studies might be directed to determining the capacity and speed of the enterprises to respond to these changes, in particular the ability of the staff to work efficiently and to realize the innovation potential under these conditions.

The article explores visual culture as a conceptual and practical foundation for managerial thinking in the modern restaurant industry. It argues that visual culture, beyond its aesthetic function, serves as a cognitive and organizational framework that shapes strategic, operational, and communicative processes within hospitality enterprises. Drawing on an interdisciplinary methodology that combines visual studies, management theory, and case analysis, the authors examine how visual identity, design, and media integration affect managerial decisions, internal coordination, and customer interaction. The study highlights the phenomenon of the “visual turn,” which redefines managerial cognition through imagery, visual metaphors, and spatial structures. Empirical cases of restaurant brands, such as Taco Love, The Oak Stave, and Chipotle, demonstrate that a consistent visual identity, coherent social media representation, and well-structured spatial aesthetics increase brand recognizability, emotional engagement, and organizational coherence. The research identifies the motivational dimensions of visual thinking, emphasizing how visualization enhances decision clarity, stimulates creativity, and strengthens responsible leadership within service teams. The findings confirm that visual culture serves as both a communicative and motivational mechanism for developing managerial literacy, fostering ethical awareness, and shaping leadership identity in the hospitality sector. The study concludes that visual management tools - dashboards, graphic standards, infographics, and storytelling media—constitute not merely instruments of representation but cognitive architectures that structure thought and behavior in the contemporary restaurant environment.

The article explores the phenomenon of visual and aesthetic thinking as an emerging managerial competence and an integral component of management culture in the hospitality industry. Moving beyond traditional rational approaches, the study conceptualizes visual-aesthetic thinking as a form of managerial intelligence that integrates cognitive, sensory, and cultural dimensions of decision-making. It emphasizes that visual perception, color, composition, and spatial design function as non-verbal management tools capable of structuring team behavior, stimulating creativity, and reinforcing brand identity. Based on content analysis and comparative review of international and Ukrainian research, the authors identify four structural dimensions of this phenomenon: visual culture as a channel of managerial communication, the cognitive-aesthetic nature of decision-making, the aesthetic environment as a managerial instrument, and visual-aesthetic thinking as a marker of advanced leadership culture. The study demonstrates how managers in hotels and restaurants utilize visual codes, design elements, and aesthetic cues to create multisensory service environments that enhance staff motivation, improve customer experience, and promote emotional coherence within teams. The authors argue that the aestheticization of management contributes to organizational stability, cognitive economy, and the emotional sustainability of service personnel. The findings expand theoretical understanding of aesthetic intelligence in management and suggest practical implications for leadership development, staff adaptation, and the design of emotionally engaging service spaces in the hospitality sector.

Purpose. The aim of this study is to determine the role of emotional design as a strategic management tool in the hotel and restaurant business and to analyse its impact on decision-making efficiency, organizational behaviour adaptability, and cognitive engagement of personnel. Methodology of research. The study applies an interdisciplinary approach combining qualitative content analysis of academic publications, case studies of hotel and restaurant enterprises, cognitive analysis of management patterns, and visual ethnographic research of the spatial-sensory environment. The conceptual foundation is based on the design-based strategic management approach, which enables the assessment of how spatial design solutions influence strategic thinking and behavioural models. Findings. The research revealed that emotional design influences key aspects of management in the hotel and restaurant business: it accelerates decision-making in critical situations, reduces cognitive load on staff, fosters a positive emotional environment for customers, and increases customer loyalty. It was proved that spatial design can act as a latent regulator of team behaviour, supporting self-organization and effective interaction without administrative pressure. Originality. The study proposes an interpretation of emotional design as a framing element of strategic management in service businesses. For the first time, the functional multi-level structure of emotional design (visceral, behavioural, and reflective levels) is generalized and its impact on the cognitive engagement of both staff and clients is defined. Practical value. The recommendations developed for integrating emotional design into hotel and restaurant management strategies can be used to improve service efficiency, enhance internal communication, and establish a sustainable emotional connection with customers. The findings are relevant to both physical and digital service environments.

The article presents the results of the study of the current state of public administration and strategic directions of development of nursing education in Ukraine by on the example of Dnipropetrovsk region. The region was chosen because it ranks second in Ukraine in terms of population (first place Donetsk region). The purpose of the study is to determine the strategic prospects for reform and effective development of the medical sector, in particular the education system of health workers on the basis of the study of the current state of public health management. The article has a conceptual nature, so the following research methods were chosen: systematization and generalization; analysis and specification; abstract-logical. An analysis of the scientific database of domestic and foreign researchers found that public administration of the secondary medical education system, including the health care system, is in crisis and is characterized by globality, longevity and complexity. According to the results of statistical processing of primary data, it was found that despite the high level of graduates in the specialty «223 Nursing» of degrees professional junior bachelor and bachelor for five years (from 2016 to 2020) the number of nurses decreased by 21.6004% and this negative trend continues. State management of nursing education was defined as a special type of professional activity, the purpose and result of which is to ensure, support life and dynamic development of the industry whose main mechanisms are: regulatory-legal, coordination, organizational-motivational, educational-pedagogical, economic. The article emphasizes the need to develop strategic directions for the development of public administration in the system of medical education, which would provide medical institutions with highly qualified specialists, taking into account the market of educational services and the needs of society, to create and implement an effective resource mobilization mechanism to meet the needs of medical education, taking into account continuous professional development to train highly qualified professionals.

Стаття присвячена комплексному дослідженню трансформації децентралізованих додатків (DApps) від початкових моделей токенізації до стійких бізнес-екосистем з акцентом на ризикоорієнтоване стратегічне управління. Розглянуто проблему розриву між механізмами залучення капіталу через токенізацію та створенням довгострокової цінності в децентралізованому середовищі. Автори аналізують екосистемну архітектуру DApps через призму технічної стандартизації (ERC-20) та підприємницьких мереж, виявляючи ключову роль інституційного середовища в розвитку блокчейн-проєктів. Досліджено подвійну природу монетарної інфраструктури DApps, де одночасно функціонують криптовалюти та традиційні фінансові інструменти. Виявлено посередницьку роль криптовалютних бірж як стратегічно важливих елементів, що пов’язують розробників та інвесторів, а також криптовалютну та традиційну фінансову системи. Особливу увагу приділено блокчейну як інституційній технології, здатній трансформувати існуючі моделі економічної взаємодії через зниження трансакційних витрат та мінімізацію опортуністичної поведінки. Запропоновано комплексну матрицю стратегічного управління ризиками в DApps, що враховує технічний, економічний, організаційний та регуляторний рівні. Розроблено типологію стратегій управління токенізованими моделями з різними підходами до балансу децентралізації та створення цінності, включаючи протокольну інфраструктуру, DeFi-сервіси, децентралізовані ринки та гібридні екосистеми. Для кожного типу стратегії визначено характеристики, фокус створення цінності, приклади реалізації та ключові фактори успіху. Дослідження сприяє розумінню механізмів трансформації моделей токенізації в стійкі бізнес-структури та пропонує підходи до інтеграції децентралізованих технологій у стратегічний ризикменеджмент, враховуючи взаємозв’язок між структурними та інституційними аспектами розвитку екосистеми DApps.

У статті аналізується модель Біткоїна як інноваційний підхід до стратегічного управління, що дозволяє мінімізувати ризики владної асиметрії в бізнес-середовищі. На основі проведеного аналізу запропоновано типологію стратегічних бізнес-моделей, заснованих на принципах децентралізованого управління, що включає децентралізовані автономні організації, гібридні централізовано-децентралізовані моделі, протокольні платформи, розподілені колаборативні мережі та токенізовані бізнес-екосистеми. Для кожної моделі визначено специфічні механізми нейтралізації владної асиметрії та стратегічні переваги. Розроблено комплексну типологію ризиків впровадження децентралізованих моделей управління в бізнес-практики, що включає організаційні, технологічні, регуляторні та стратегічні категорії. Для кожного типу ризику запропоновано стратегії мінімізації, адаптовані до специфіки бізнес-контекстів.

У роботі обґрунтовано стратегії мінімізації ризиків, що інтегрують технологічні, економічні, соціальні та культурні аспекти функціонування біткоїна в підприємницькій діяльності. Мета. Дослідження спрямована на теоретичне обґрунтування підходів до управління ризиками при інтеграції біткоїна в бізнес-процеси з використанням акторно-мережевої методології, що дозволяє розглядати криптовалютну систему як сукупність взаємодіючих гетерогенних елементів. Методи. У роботі використано міждисциплінарний підхід, що об'єднує акторно-мережеву теорію, концепції інформаційної безпеки та інституційний аналіз криптоекономічних систем. Проведено систематизацію досліджень функціонування протоколу Біткоїн з позиції взаємодії технічних і соціальних компонентів. Застосовано компаративний аналіз архітектури безпеки традиційних фінансових систем і децентралізованих криптовалютних структур. Результати. Систематизовано основні категорії ризиків, пов'язаних з використанням біткоїна в бізнесі (волатильність цін, регуляторна невизначеність, кіберзагрози, операційні та репутаційні ризики), оцінено їхню специфіку з урахуванням децентралізованої природи криптовалюти. Виявлено подвійну природу транзакцій, що виступають одночасно засобом передачі вартості та об'єктом економічної конкуренції, що створює специфічне середовище ризиків. Проаналізовано практичний досвід провідних учасників криптовалютної індустрії, що демонструє ефективність багаторівневих підходів до управління ризиками. Розглянуто роль технічних особливостей протоколу Біткоїн (децентралізація, криптографічний захист, прозорість реєстру, незмінність даних) в управлінні ризиками. Обґрунтовано, що ці характеристики створюють принципово іншу архітектуру безпеки порівняно з традиційними фінансовими системами, що вимагає від бізнесу переосмислення підходів до оцінки та мінімізації ризиків. Висновки. Ефективне управління ризиками при використанні біткоїна в бізнесі вимагає комплексного підходу, що інтегрує технологічні рішення з фінансовими та організаційними заходами. Фундаментальні характеристики протоколу Біткоїн створюють принципово іншу архітектуру безпеки порівняно з традиційними системами, що зумовлює необхідність перегляду класичних методів оцінки та мінімізації ризиків.

У статті розглядається проблема підприємницьких ризиків в умовах інституційної невизначеності та аналізуються можливості застосування блокчейнтехнологій і стратегічного управління для їх мінімізації. Інституційна невизначеність, що виявляється в нестабільності нормативних вимог, непередбачуваності рішень регуляторів і відсутності прозорості, створює значні перешкоди для розвитку бізнесу, тоді як традиційні методи управління ризиками мають обмежену ефективність і сприяють формуванню специфічної філософії та культури управління. Обґрунтовано, що блокчейн-технології, завдяки децентралізації, прозорості та безпеці, пропонують альтернативний підхід до забезпечення довіри та зниження ризиків. Досліджено практичні приклади застосування блокчейну в різних галузях: від фінансів до логістики, охорони здоров'я, нерухомості та енергетики. Систематизовано стратегії впровадження блокчейну в бізнес, включаючи використання смарт-контрактів, децентралізацію операцій, партнерства з блокчейн-стартапами, створення консорціумів та навчання персоналу. При цьому відзначаються і обмеження блокчейну: технічна складність, регуляторні ризики, високі витрати на впровадження, кіберзагрози та проблеми масштабованості. Результати дослідження свідчать, що поєднання стратегічного управління та блокчейн-технологій формує ефективний інструментарій для мінімізації підприємницьких ризиків у нестабільному інституційному середовищі. Такий підхід дозволяє компаніям створювати стійкі бізнес-моделі, знижувати залежність від ненадійних інститутів і підвищувати конкурентоспроможність, що особливо актуально для регіонів з недостатньо розвиненою інституційною інфраструктурою.

The rapid development of blockchain technologies creates a new paradigm of economic relations, requiring a rethinking of traditional approaches to management and business organization. The relevance of Ethereum research is due to its significant potential for creating new forms of economic coordination that go beyond existing institutional structures. With the growing complexity of global economic systems, Ethereum offers a unique approach to solving trust, transparency, and transaction efficiency problems. The purpose of the work is to substantiate the role of blockchain as a new management technology using the example of the Ethereum platform, as well as to reveal the mechanisms for projecting imaginary autonomy in the process of its design and institutionalization through the activities of various actors. The study focuses on the formation of alternative modes of economic coordination of entrepreneurial structures and social organization. Key characteristics of the “governance through transactions” implemented in Ethereum are identified, including the focus on exchange and association relationships, the epistemological gap between the calculation and meaning of transactions, and the specific processes of forming and articulating these transactions. The process of institutionalization of the autonomy of cryptoassets is analyzed, demonstrating the complex interaction of various actors, technologies and social practices. A conceptual model of the evolution of digital economy management has been developed, reflecting the development trajectory from fragility to antifragility using the example of Ethereum. The transformational potential of Ethereum for existing economic and social structures is substantiated. This platform is considered an alternative proposal for managing the digital economy, capable of changing the fundamental principles of organizing economic activity. Problems and limitations associated with the implementation of decentralized systems are also identified, including technical challenges of scalability, difficulties of coordination, and risks of excessive algorithmization of social relations.

In Bulgaria, integrating technology and innovation is crucial for advancing sustainable healthcare disaster management, enhancing disaster response and recovery, and minimizing long-term environmental and social impacts. The purpose of the study is to assess the impact of modern technological innovations on the effectiveness of disaster management in health care in Bulgaria with a focus on Health Information Systems (HIS), Telemedicine, Telehealth, e-Health, Electronic Health Records, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Public Communication Platforms, and Data Security and Privacy. These innovations, when integrated effectively, can significantly strengthen Bulgaria's preparedness and response capabilities, improving efficiency and reducing the environmental footprint of disaster interventions. Collaboration with technology experts, research institutions, and international organizations is essential for successful implementation. The research aims to assess how these technologies can enhance disaster management efficacy, adopting a methodical approach using Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs). Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs) utilize precise criteria for research selection and evaluation to reduce bias, systematically compiling and analyzing data from various studies to offer evidence-based insights. They are crucial for uncovering research gaps, indicating areas needing further exploration. Findings highlight the transformative potential of technology integration in streamlining communication, data management, and operational efficiency. The study underscores the urgent need for an integrated approach and a culture of innovation within the healthcare sector, emphasizing ongoing assessment and adaptation of technology-based strategies. While acknowledging limitations and calling for further research, the study provides valuable insights into Bulgaria's healthcare disaster management strategies and sets the stage for future investigations to refine and expand upon these strategies. It advocates for a strategic framework guiding the efficient integration of technology into disaster management, aiming for resilient and patient-centric healthcare systems.

The concept of sustainable development considers environmental, social and economic issues in general. And the goals of resource conservation and socio-economic development do not contradict each other, but contribute to mutual reinforcement. The purpose of this study is to build and test an economic and mathematical model for the formation of strategies for the behavior of an economic entity with an increase in the impact of negative environmental factors. The proposed strategies and their models are based on the income-expenditure balance equation, which takes into account both quantitative and qualitative characteristics. The constructed models are considered in the state space. The research methodology is based on building models in the form of linear combinations of functions of a homogeneous external impact and various spatial combinations of economic sources (sinks). The study makes it possible to assess the dependence of the amount of resources used for life support on the chosen adaptive strategy. Within the framework of the proposed model, it was found that the criterion for the effectiveness of the applied strategy can be an indicator of satisfaction with the state, the preservation of which, simultaneously with the preservation of the size of resources used, corresponds to the direction of optimization. This approach is consistent with the concept of sustainable development.

The need for innovative development of healthcare institutions is determined by the necessity to increase the efficiency of organizational processes based on the formation of new models of cooperation, which will make it possible to get access to new technologies and knowledge. The goal of the study is to determine the parameters of the impact of innovative open cooperation strategy and the strategy of innovative closed cooperation of healthcare institutions on the effectiveness of their organizational structure in the context of dissemination and the use of knowledge. Simulation modeling was applied to generate the most effective organizational management structure in the context of innovative cooperation and knowledge exchange within the organizational processes “Inside-out” and “Inside-in”. It is substantiated that the strategies of innovative cooperation “Open Innovation/Closed Innovation” have a significant impact on the organizational structure of management of healthcare institutions in terms of the “degree of centralization” (Dci), “degree of mediation” (Dii), and “degree of centralization of powers” (Dpi). The values of the selected criteria range from 25,52% to 61,50% in the case of Dii, and from 34,53% to 52,63% in the case of Dci, which indicates a higher efficiency of organizational knowledge exchange processes in healthcare institutions, which adhere to the Open Innovation strategy of innovative cooperation. Therefore, there are significant differences in the effectiveness of the management’s organizational structure depending on the degree of openness of innovative cooperation of healthcare institutions. The strategy of innovative openness allows increasing the number and quality of connections in the context of knowledge exchange between the subjects (actors, agents) of the organizational structure (in a broad sense, considering internal and external levels of externality) of healthcare institutions, regardless of the distance between them and the level of similarity.

The stronger the level of economic integration between countries, the greater the need to study the formation patterns of the stock market reaction to the financial information signals. This concerns the Ukrainian stock market, which is now in its infancy, and which reaction to financial information signals is sometimes ambiguous. The research aims to identify the formation patterns of return and volatility indicators of the Ukrainian stock market reaction to the US financial information signals. To assess the direct nature of US financial information signals effect on the PFTS stock index, the GARCH econometric modeling toolkit was applied. The research information base is the PFTS stock index and the Federal Reserve System financial information signals at the discount rate for 2000–2019. The fetch is divided into intervals corresponded to the ascent and decline phases of the financial cycle. It was found that an unforeseen increase in the discount rate at the financial cycle decline phase by 25 basis points decreases the PFTS stock index return, on average by 2.9%. Besides, the hypothesis about the general change stabilizing effect in the discount rate on the Ukrainian stock market volatility at the financial cycle growth phase was confirmed. Nevertheless, for investors, the most essential is the regulator’s monetary signals in the discount rate at the financial cycle decline phases rather than at the ascent phases because there is a more significant increase in the volatility level.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to investigate the relationship between cognitive styles of managers working in tourism companies and dynamic capabilities of these companies. Design – The research relies on a quantitative questionnaire. Methodology – To answer the research question, the bivariate (Pearson) correlation was applied. A number of 268 answers from people working in tourism were received. Findings – We found a positive correlation between different dimensions of dynamic capabilities of tourism companies. These capabilities are influenced by managers’ cognitive characteristics. The organizational culture plays a mediating role in the latter relationship. Implications for theory – The paper offers an alternative understanding of dynamic capabilities in tourism and hospitality; the paper also opens new paths for academic research on the impact of cognitive characteristics of managers on the dynamic capabilities of tourism companies. Implications for practitioners – Making accurate psychological portrait of the candidate can predict his/her behavior in certain situation, such as response towards environmental change using dynamic capabilities and when making the necessary changes to the organizational culture. Originality – This study proposes model of influence of a manager’s cognitive style on dynamic capabilities, whereby organizational culture moderates this relationship.

Willingness and readiness of people to do their jobs are among the key factors of a successful enterprise. In XXI century intellectual human labour is gaining unprecedented value and is being developed actively. The demand for intellectual labour calls forth an increasing number of jobs and professions that require an extensive preparation, a large number of working places, high level of integration of joint human efforts, growth of social welfare. These trends are becoming ever more pervasive and are spreading widely in service industries, and that explains the rapid development of the latter when compared to the traditional areas of human activity. In its turn, it heightens the need for staff in service companies, supported by significant personnel turnover and a certain shortage of skilled professionals. These circumstances determine the need for developing a new concept of fostering staff motivation at the enterprises in the sphere of services. In order to reach the stated purpose while conducting our research into tourism and hospitality industry, as well as retail chains, we have examined the problems that arise in the process of staff motivation, and studied the foreign practice of motivating staff in hotels. The obtained analysis results enabled us to work out practical recommendations on improvement of the mechanism of tangible and intangible rewards in service companies, which are based on external and internal motivational factors. Additional attention in the article is paid to the statement that financial incentives should be based on key performance indicators (KPI). We give a detailed consideration to the classification of internal motivation incentives of the staff according to the terms of their realization, and give a schematic representation of the performance dynamics of the internal motivation model in service businesses

In modern conditions the questions of personnel management, including motivation, acquire new meaning. Particularly given the problems relevant to the service sector, where at the beginning of the XXI century employing more than 60% of the workforce in developed countries. These circumstances determine the need for a modern concept of material and immaterial motivation of service industries. Such factors determine the need for the development modern concept of material and immaterial motivation of service industries staff. To obtain indicated objective during research analyzed the existing concepts and paradigm of staff motivation with highlighting their advantages and disadvantages. The results obtained allowed to establish that scientific and expert community does not have the unified approach to the classification and identification of the most effective ones. Special attention is given to modern developments and approaches to the motivation problem. This fact caused the structure of follow studies, including three interlinked vectors: analysis of the essential content of the fundamental concepts in the field of staff motivation; defining features of employee motivation at the enterprises sphere of services; introduction to the key successful international practices which apply by service companies. In general, the results obtained enabled the author’s model of the modern concept of material and non-material motivation at the enterprises the service sector and the corresponding mechanism for the implementation.

The article considers franchising as a tool for market penetration and presence on it and also provides its main advantages, in tourism and hospitality sector in particular; examines the role of franchising for tourism enterprises within the contemporary economic system; pays attention to organizational culture as a factor of franchising development in the travel industry ("TUI GROUP" case study). On the basis of employee survey the key problems are revealed associated with neglecting the importance of organizational culture formation and recommendations on overcoming these problems are offered.
