Ted Poston is the inaugural Director of the McCollough Institute for Pre-Medical Education and Professor of Philosophy at the University of Alabama. His research focuses on issues in epistemology and the philosophy of science. His current research focuses on the relationship between Bayesian inference and explanatory inference, and the nature and role of coherence.
