Thom Brooks is Professor of Law and Government at Durham University's Law School and its longest serving Dean. He is an affiliated member in Philosophy and Government departments. From September, he becomes Principal of Collingwood College, Durham. He has written 10 books and held visiting appointments at Chicago, Columbia, Harvard, LUISS (Rome), Nice (Cote d'Azur), Oxford, Penn, St Andrews, Uppsala and Yale.
