I focus on what it takes—and what reality must be like—for us to think and act responsibly and to be responsible for how we think and act. Most of my work concerns the mental, experiential, and epistemic preconditions for these forms of responsibility when they relate to morality and blame, but I am also interested in what (if anything) follows for religious thought and practice, social and political life, and professional practice—especially, healthcare practice.
