My name is Xu Tianxiang/徐天翔.

I do the ethics of belief as a PhD student at the Universities of St Andrews and Stirling.

My current project is to defend a version of pluralist pragmatism according to which we have both epistemic and non-epistemic (moral, prudential, etc.) reasons for/against believing and they combine with each other to decide what we all-things-considered should believe. Related topics that I also read and write on include the nature of epistemic blame and epistemic consequentialism.
