Tim Christiaens (they/them) is assistant professor of philosophy and economic ethics at Tilburg University in the Netherlands. They research political philosophy, critical theory, philosophy of technology, and economic ethics. They have published books on the meaning of worker autonomy in the gig economy (Digital Working Lives, 2022) and on the contemporary relevance of Italian political philosophy (An Introduction to Contemporary Italian Thought, 2026 with Joost de Bloois and Stijn De Cauwer).
