I am a postdoc at the Institute of Philosophy, University of Bern, Switzerland. I am currently working in a project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation on the interpretabiliy of machine learning from a philosophy of science perspective (2020-2024).
My current research interests are conceptual issues of artificial intelligence and machine learning (interpretability, algorithmic fairness, ethics, use in science). I am also interested in topics in philosophy of science and mathematics (explanation, understanding, modeling, applicability of mathematics, &HPS).
