My research currently focuses on the following issues:
How to develop an adequate form of perceptual realism in light of empirical discoveries about the perceptual system and developments in AI?
How does our mental landscape alter during heightened states of awareness, such as when practicing mindfulness (vipassanā) meditation? How do these states contribute to our epistemic agency and well-being?
In working through these issues, my work spans a wide array of areas, including philosophy of mind, metaphysics and epistemology, philosophy of cognitive science, philosophy of technology, ethics and Asian philosophy.
