My research interest is currently focused on the theory of meaning-change and meaning-emergence. This study lies at the intersection of contemporary metaphysics, phenomenology, and the philosophy of language.

Another research program that I have been working on is a systematization of East Asian philosophy with a focus upon the problem of semantico-ontological determination analyzed by Nishida Kitarō and Mou Zongsan.

My fields of specialization also include early modern metaphysics, especially Spinoza's and Leibniz's metaphysics of singularity and their theories of mind-body relation.
