I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at North Carolina State University. For the 2024-25 academic year, I was the Ahmanson Postdoctoral Instructor in Philosophy of Science at the California Institute of Technology. Before that, I completed my PhD in Philosophy at the University of Pittsburgh.

I work primarily in the philosophy of science, though I am also interested in the philosophy of language. I'm generally interested in questions to do with models and explanation, how applied mathematics works, multiscalar modelling strategies of various kinds, and conceptual engineering.
