I am a University Lecturer in Practical Philosophy at the University of Helsinki.

My current research defends a new delineation of the distinction between power and freedom on the basis of a rational reconstruction of Michel Foucault’s philosophical work. More generally, questions about agency, identity, and the nature of norms are central to my research that draws broadly on European and Anglophone philosophical traditions alike.
