I am a teaching fellow at the University Athens. Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher on the MetaScience Project in the University of Bristol. I am interested in examining standard issues of the philosophy of science from the perspective of chemistry. Currently, my work focuses on the relation between chemistry and quantum physics, the reality of chemical bonds, and the role of models and idealisations in chemistry.

I am interested in examining standard issues of the philosophy of science from the perspective of chemistry. Currently, my work focuses on the relation between chemistry and quantum physics, the reality of chemical bonds, and the role of models and idealisations in chemistry.
I am also engaged in projects that aim at making the philosophy of chemistry more widely known. Specifically, I have co-created Jargonium.com and I am currently writer of the philosophical column "Thought Experiments" of Chemistry World magazine.
My background is in Chemical Engineering (National Technical University of Athens) and I also hold an MSc in Philosophy of Science (LSE). I completed my PhD at the University of Bristol under the supervision of James Ladyman.
