PhD student in statistics at Carlos III University of Madrid, in Spain. My main interests are related to how to distinguish statistical association from causality, how to make inductive inferences, and how to quantify the uncertainty about such inferences. Those interests motivated me to pursue both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in statistics at the University of Campinas, one of the most prestigious universities in South America.
