I have broad interests in the philosophy of science, though the questions I pursue frequently fall at the intersection of mind and language. At the center of my research is the topic of representation: how representations function as components of cognitive and social structures, as well as the role of representation as an explanatory tool in philosophy and the cognitive sciences.
