Wim Laven, PhD in International Conflict Management, has two decades of experience working, researching, and teaching in the fields of peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and conflict management. His experiences range from maximum security prison and complex humanitarian disasters to reconciliation, small claims mediation, and the Special Olympics. He currently serves on the boards of the Peace and Justice Studies Association and the International Peace Research Association and works as editor in chief for the Peace Chronicle magazine.
