The work of Martin Heidegger, both in the twentieth and early twentieth centuries, remains the most debated in philosophical discourse, and looking at it through the lens of existential tradition opens up new frontiers for its understanding. This conversation, inspired by the interest in the anthropological issues of the two interlocutors, took place the day after the defense of the doctoral thesis of the historian of philosophy Andrew Dakhni in May 2019, which in itself became a momentous event for national philosophical thought.

У сучасному стані «гібридної війни» дуже важливо деконструювати загарбницьку ідеологію, що просувається російськими ЗМІ, через аналіз витоків доктрини «русский мир», звернення до формування ідеологічного концепту «Москва – Третій Рим», на основі якого формувалась месіанська ідея богообраності російського народу. На думку авторки, міф про божественне походження російського самодержця та месіанську роль російського народу є свідомим ідеологічним конструктом, який будувався на основі гібридного співіснування політичного та релігійного в державницькій системі. У статті аналізується, в який спосіб московські ідеологи маніпулювали текстами власних святих та вчених, обертали релігійні ідеї на службу царизму, йшли всупереч догматиці православ’я. Проілюстровано, як поняття «месіанство» стало еластичним світським конструктом, а «Месія» був замінений на образ «самодержця». На основі виявлених відмінностей у трактуванні месіанства в його первісному варіанті, у християнстві та у російському форматі, авторка доходить висновку про онтологічну несумісність російського месіанства та канонічного православ’я.

У статті здійснено аналіз двох базових ідеологем доктрини «руский мір»: міфу про три братні народи та міфу про тисячолітню історію Росії-Русі та неперервну генеалогію «від Володимира до Володимира». Постулюється, що ідеологія «руского міра» не відповідає за визначенням критеріям чіткості, ясності, однозначності; значення її ключових понять є максимально варіабельними, залежать від контексту, використовують з підміною сенсу у загальнозначущих формулюваннях, де не передбачається уточнення нестандартного вживання терміну; відбувається підміна ідентичностей, через що можлива маніпуляція історичними фактами та пам’яттю народу; такі неформальні логічні хиби, як звернення до сили, звернення до страху, несправжній шотландець, оптова угода та отруєння джерела використовуються повсякчас російськими ідеологами в своїх аргументативних практиках. Окремо акцентується увага на зверненості російських міфологем до минулого, до спільної історії, пам'яті, на побутуванні апеляції до традицій та обрядів, що становлять той базис російської «православної» ідеології, який дає змогу говорити про тисячолітню історію цього політичного утворення. При цьому, зміна державних режимів, ідеологій, цілей та геополітичного статусу ніяк не впливають на цілісність і неперевність цієї тисячолітньої історії. Авторка акцентує увагу на тому, що масив ідеологічних міфів Росії не можна назвати виваженою системою політичних догм, це радше ризоматична система маніпуляцій, плинність якої забезпечує їй можливість ухилятись від контраргументів та виявлення історичних підмін.

The article is devoted to the analysis of some trends in modern world antiquity and the re-actualization of issues that have methodological and ethical significance for researchers in this field. The essay is aimed not so much at building a broad argument for the "defense" of early ancient philosophers but at (re) actualizing those questions that should be answered by a historian of philosophy, translator, antiquarian, or more broadly - a researcher related to this field.. The author questions the place of the legacy of early ancient philosophers in the history of philosophy, as well as the ethics of "ranking" of more or less important philosophical doctrines. If we turn to the question of assessing (less) the value of the philosopher on the historical background, it remains open. It needs to be discussed soon because, without its clarification, there are no plans for translations and selection of authors for translation and research work in general. Areas will be unsystematic. Simultaneously, the birth of ancient philosophical thought ab initio is interesting precisely in its diversity, in the assortment of currents and approaches, in the pluralism of expressed ideas, because that is why almost every modern philosophical thesis can be justified with the help of an ancient heritage. After all, it is on such principles that specific steps can be outlined for building antiquity as a branch of Ukrainian science. That is why the author emphasizes the need for professional discussion of a range of issues that are basic for historical and philosophical science, which could clarify both the ethical dimension of the researcher and/or translator and the methodological direction of these studies, as well as affect the methodology of the thesaurus—key philosophical terms in Ukrainian. Addressing the origins of European philosophical thought is an urgent need of the Ukrainian community of philosophers because, without this field of research, the academic field cannot be complete.

This article outlines the relevance and significance of the philosophical analysis of the essence of expertise by drawing upon existing Western contributions within the “philosophy of expertise” and offering author’s vision of this issue. Due to the postulation of the importance of expertise as a social phenomenon, the emphasis has been shifted from the expert himself to those actors who use his expertise. The main part of the article is devoted to author’s concept of the three dimensions of expertise: ontic, deontic, and epistemological. The ontic dimension of expertise encompasses the phenomena of the objectual-sensory world that reflect the basis of an expert’s competence and involvement in a community of professionals. However, since expertise is a social activity rather than solely individual, alongside the ontic dimension of contextually verified competencies, there is a mandatory presence of a special responsibility on the expert’s behalf, leading to the discussion of the deontic dimension. As the epistemological dimension is one of the most debated in the context of the philosophy of expertise, its elucidation proves to be the most intricate and intriguing within this work. It raises questions regarding the dual nature of knowledge, the epistemic conditions of expertise quality, such as understanding (relevant terms, arguments, etc.), and the presence of propositional justification. This section concludes with an argument for the necessity of simultaneously considering all three dimensions when analyzing real-world expertise. Furthermore, by appealing to real social practices, the second part of the article attempts to demonstrate that the foundation of expertise analysis is deeply rooted in European civilization, starting from Socratic inquiries. Socrates began scrutinizing the epistemic value of ancient experts in light of the socio-political crisis of that time, including crises in the humanitarian sphere. Such a preliminary review of this issue should provoke a discussion, the expression of certain assessments and remarks, which will turn into a full-fledged professional discussion.
