Xi Luo was born in Yunnan province, Southwest of China. He received his PhD from Humboldt University of Berlin in 2019, where he was supervised by Tobias Rosefeldt. He did a postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University (in Beijing). Now he is Associate Professor at the School of Philosophy and Religious Studies, Minzu University of China (in Beijing). He is interested in early modern philosophy and German idealism, especially Kant. Currently, he is working on the free will problem in Leibniz and Kant.
