    A low-noise CMOS pixel direct charge sensor, Topmetal-II -
    with M. An, C. Chen, C. Gao, M. Han, R. Ji, X. Li, Y. Mei, Q. Sun, K. Wang, L. Xiao, P. Yang, and W. Zhou
We report the design and characterization of a CMOS pixel direct charge sensor, Topmetal-II-, fabricated in a standard 0.35 μm CMOS Integrated Circuit process. The sensor utilizes exposed metal patches on top of each pixel to directly collect charge. Each pixel contains a low-noise charge-sensitive preamplifier to establish the analog signal and a discriminator with tunable threshold to generate hits. The analog signal from each pixel is accessible through time-shared multiplexing over the entir…Read more
  • 18-month trajectories of delusional dimensions in young adults: Relationship with reasoning biases and worry
    with S. H. So, C. Zhu, A. K. C. Chau, C. D. Chiu, R. C. K. Chan, and P. W. L. Leung
    J Psychopathol Clin Sci 132 (2). 2023.
BACKGROUND: It has been argued that what differentiates delusional ideation from full-blown delusions (indicating need for care) is not the number of beliefs, but the experiential dimensions such as conviction, distress, and preoccupation. However, how these dimensions evolve over time and affect outcomes is under-researched. While delusional conviction and distress are associated with reasoning biases and worry respectively in clinical samples, how these processes predict trajectories of delusi…Read more

Role of eco-management practices in determining corporate sustainable development in China: a resource-based perspective
with Fahad Khalid, Mohit Srivastava, and Khwaja Naveed
International Journal of Business Governance and Ethics 19 (6): 704-732. 2025.
This study examines the impact of eco-management practices (EMPs) on corporate sustainable development (Wbcsd) within the Chinese A-share-listed companies from 2010 to 2019, based on a dataset comprising 7,948 firm-year observations. The findings reveal compelling insights regarding three specific EMPs: environmental innovation (EI), eco-management certification (EMC), and eco-management training (EMT). Notably, EI demonstrates a significant positive influence on CSD within environmentally sensi…Read more

Green Investing and Corporate Environmental Violations: Do CEO Ability and Female Directors Matter?
with Fahad Khalid, Petru L. Curseu, Cosmina L. Voinea, and Mohit Srivastava
Business Ethics, the Environment and Responsibility. forthcoming.
Building on the notion that organizations are congruence seeking systems, this study investigates the impact of green investing on corporate environmental violations (CEVs). The research sample consists of China's A-share-listed companies for the period 2009–2020. The study employs a robust analytical framework that integrates least squares dummy variable approach, different proxies for regressors and moderators, and instrumental variable technique. Based on the rigorous methods, empirical analy…Read more

Infliximab for intensification of primary therapy for Kawasaki disease: A phase 3 randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial
    with A. H. Tremoulet, S. Jain, P. Jaggi, S. Jimenez-Fernandez, J. M. Pancheri, J. T. Kanegaye, J. P. Kovalchin, B. F. Printz, O. Ramilo, and J. C. Burns
Background Kawasaki disease, the most common cause of acquired heart disease in developed countries, is a self-limited vasculitis that is treated with high doses of intravenous immunoglobulin. Resistance to intravenous immunoglobulin in Kawasaki disease increases the risk of coronary artery aneurysms. We assessed whether the addition of infliximab to standard therapy in acute Kawasaki disease reduces the rate of treatment resistance. Methods We undertook a phase 3, randomised, double-blind, plac…Read more

Lithium/sulfur cells have attracted much attention due to their higher theoretical specific capacity and energy compared to those of current lithium-ion cells. However, the application of Li/S cells is still hampered by short cycle life. Sulfur-graphene oxide nanocomposites have shown promise as cathode materials for long-life Li/S cells because oxygen-containing functional groups on the surface of graphene oxide were successfully used as sulfur immobilizers by forming weak bonds with sulfur and…Read more

Unveiling the influence of institutional quality on board gender diversity and corporate environmental, social, and governance disputes in China
with Fahad Khalid, Khwaja Naveed, and Mohit Srivastava
Business Ethics, the Environment and Responsibility 34 (3): 621-638. 2025.
This paper unravels an unprecedented interplay between board gender diversity (BGD) and corporate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) disputes among Chinese A-share-listed nonfinancial companies from 2017 to 2021. Framed within a knowledge-based and sensemaking perspective of institutional frameworks, the research not only illuminates the profound impact of internal (corporate governance ratings) and external (regional institutional development) institutional factors on this intricate re…Read more
