The reformation of education in our country is occurring in many facets. Looking into the current situation, it is our belief that the studies on related problems of basic relation of education is necessary to reach the goal of a humanistic education. With this in our mind, we choose the approach on education of Hoang Dao Thuy (1900-1994) as the subject of our theoretical study. We focus on the study of Hoang Dao Thuy’s opinion on the meaning of education to the development of individual. Hoang Dao Thuy’s idea based on three arguments: Firstly, he was against the idea of education as a way to reach fame and money. Secondly, Hoang Dao Thuy argue that learning is to understand Lễ”. “Lễ” is the law, the system of society which everyone has to follow. That is why the basic of a good individual is “Lễ”. Thirdly, education is not to do job, but to “choose” job. Choosing job is having the abilities to work in every fields and finding the jobs to make ourselves and the society better. The subject for the study in practice is Hoang Dao Thuy’s works in pre-1945 period.

In the context of rapid technological development, children are increasingly less exposed to folk tales through traditional book reading, posing challenges to the preservation and transmission of cultural values. Animated films, with the support of vivid images and sound, are considered an effective means to help children engage with folk tales in a more appealing way. This study indicates that animated films can enhance children's ability to absorb and retain folk tale content while stimulating imagination, developing multisensory thinking, and increasing enthusiasm for learning. The research findings emphasize that animated films are not merely an entertainment tool but also play a significant role in folklore education, contributing to the preservation and promotion of cultural heritage. However, to optimize educational effectiveness, the adaptation process must strike a balance between creativity and fidelity to the original content while integrating moral lessons suitable for children's psychology. Future research could focus on assessing the long-term impact of animated films on children's cognition and behavior, as well as exploring ways to combine them with interactive teaching methods to enhance the effectiveness of folklore education.
