This study is aimed at investigating the impact of the A Theory of Justice and ot-her works that derive from John Rawls, who has gained an important place in the discussions on justice and economic justice in the Anglo-American law, phi-losophy and economics literature. The current meanings of the different dimen-sions of the comprehensive doctrine of Rawls’ are interpreted based in his books A Theory of Justice, Political Liberalism and The Law of Peoples. In accordance with the theory will be made explanations about Rawls’ original position and veil of ignorance, the analysis of MacIntyre’s good as a virtue and its’ bounda-ries, Sandel's views on justice as a virtue, Nozick's justification method of notion of justice, Kant's handling of economic justice based on justice. Additionally will be examined pluralism mission of universities that commonly observed in Ame-rica analysis in the context of Turkey. Evaluations will be made on what should be accepted and rejected in the ongoing libertarian, egalitarian, utilitarian and communitarian conflict. Bu çalışma Anglo-Amerikan hukuk, felsefe ve iktisat literatüründe adalet ve ikti-sadi adalet üzerine yürütülen tartışmalarda mühim bir yer edinen John Rawls’ın Adalet Teorisi ile ondan türeyen diğer eserlerin etkisini irdeleme amacı taşımak-tadır. Rawls’ın Adalet Teorisi, Siyasal Liberalizm ve Halkların Yasası kitapların-da ortaya koyduğu kapsamlı doktrininin farklı boyutlarının güncel anlamları yo-rumlanmaktadır. Kurama uygun olarak Rawls’ın orijinal pozisyonu ve bilgisizlik peçesi, MacIntyre’ın bir erdem olarak iyi ve sınırları analizi, Sandel’in adalet er-demi üzerine görüşleri, Nozick’in hakediş nosyonunu gerekçelendirmesi ve Kant’ın adaletten hareketle iktisadi adaleti ele alışı hakkında açıklamalar yapıla-caktır. Bunlara ek olarak Amerika’da yaygın olarak gözlenen üniversitelerin ço-ğulculuk misyonunun Türkiye bağlamında analizi yapılacaktır. Süregelen liber-teryen, egalitaryan, utilitaryan ve komüniteryan çatışmasında nelerin kabul edilip nelerin reddedilmesi gerektiğine yönelik değerlendirmeler ortaya konacaktır.

In this study, Abu Hanifa, Ibn Rushd (Averroes), Nasir al-Din al-Tusi and Celaleddin Devvanî’s approaches for justice and economic justice will be analyzed. Their views on Islam have been studied within a certain string of thought. For the purpose is examined in order to maintain the existence of a system according to God’s righteousness in accordance with justice processes, the works of these names which aim to produce solutions to the problems of their ages by making ijtihads. From this point of view, the current meanings and validity of the ideas they produced in their times on justice and economic justice were evaluated. Their anecdotes were reviewed for the healthy functioning of social, political, legal and economic structures. Information that they gave about state, justice, economy, society, national consciousness, division of labor and specialization shed light on their time periods. Furthermore, their ideas include thoughts that guide the leaders and social scientists of future generations. Therefore; Hanifa, Rushd, Tusi and Devvani’s analyses contain important explanations about the policies towards providing social harmony in multinational and heterogeneous social structures. This study, submits a different perspective to examine the solutions offered by Abu Hanifa, Ibn Rushd (Averroes), Nasirüddin Tûsî and Celaleddin Devvanî in the times they lived and to the future generations. The solutions they developed against the complicated conflicts of their ages, include information that can be taken as examples for now and future. Their decisions and judgments on social, political, legal and economic issues in their positions give effective methods to their interlocutors. Bu çalışmada Ebu Hanife, İbn Rüşd (Averroes), Nasîrüddin Tûsî ve Celaleddin Devvanî’nin adaleti ve iktisadi adaleti ele alış biçimleri analiz edilmektedir. İslam üzerine geliştirdikleri görüşler belirli bir mantık silsilesi içerisinde incelenmiştir. Bu bağlamda Allah’ın indirdiğine uygun bir sistemin hakkaniyet olarak adalete yönelik işlemler dahilinde mevcudiyetini sürdürebilmesi için, içtihadlar yaparak çağlarının sorunlarına çözümler üretme amacı güden bu isimlerin yaptıkları irdelenmiştir. Buradan hareketle zamanlarında adalete ve iktisadi adalete dair ürettikleri fikirlerin güncel anlamları ve geçerlilikleri değerlendirilmiştir. Sosyal, siyasal, hukuki ve iktisadi yapının sağlıklı işleyebilmesi için ortaya koydukları anekdotlar gözden geçirilmiştir. Yaşadıkları zaman dilimlerinde devlet, adalet, iktisat, toplum, millet bilinci, işbölümü ve uzmanlaşma gibi hususlarda verdikleri bilgiler kendi dönemlerine ışık tutmuştur. Bunun da ötesinde gelecek nesillerin yöneticilerine ve sosyal bilimcilerine yol gösterecek fikirler içermektedir. Dolayısıyla Hanife, Rüşd, Tusi ve Devvani’nin ortaya koyduğu analizler çok milletli ve heterojen toplum yapısına sahip ülkelerde sosyal ahengi sağlamaya yönelik politikalara dair önemli açıklamalar ihtiva etmektedir.

This study aims to analyze the justifications that will be grounded the individual and the society motifs to ensure economic justice based on the evaluations of MacIntyre’s After Virtue. Accordingly first will be contextualised MacIntyre’s mental background which is the subject of his interest areas and his contributions to moral philosophy in the context of some of his works. Then will be examined the virtues that with regard to establish economic justice defined internal and external goods, practices and institutions. Within assumed to be shaped according to these definitions will be evaluated the depictions of narrative life (narrative unity of human life) and narrative structure. Then will be discussed ‘’from the virtues to virtue and after virtue’’ with the reasonableness of the duty and responsibility awareness of the society’s desire to present ethical grounds and justifications to the rules that the society builds on morality and production patterns. Within the scope of the form of action will be evaluated MacIntyre’s views as a conclusion on the solution of individual and social problems in that activities conducted based on the failure of distributive justice, procedural justice and economic justice and the organizations formed. Bu çalışma MacIntyre’ın Erdem Peşinde eserinde yapılan değerlendirmelere istinaden iktisadi adaleti sağlamaya yönelik birey ve toplum motifine dayanak oluşturacak gerekçelendirmeleri analiz etme amacı gütmektedir. Buna uygun olarak öncelikle MacIntyre’ın ilgi alanlarını oluşturan zihinsel geçmişi ve bazı eserleri bağlamında ahlak felsefesine yaptığı katkılar ele alınacaktır. Sonra iktisadi adaleti tesis etme hususunda tanımlayarak açıkladığı erdemler, içsel ve dışsal iyiler, pratikler ve kurumlar irdelenecektir. Bu tanımlamalara bağlı olarak şekillendiği öngörülen öyküsel hayat (insan hayatının öyküsel birliği, bütünlüğü) ve öyküsel yapı betimlemeleri değerlendirilecektir. Sonra “birçok erdemden tek bir erdeme ve sonrası’’ ile toplumun ahlaklılığa ve üretim kalıplarına dair inşa ettiği kurallar bütününe etik temeller ve gerekçelendirmeler sunma arzusunun oluşturduğu ödev ve yükümlülük bilincinin makuliyeti tartışılacaktır. Eylem şekli kapsamında dağıtıcı adalet, prosedürel adalet ve iktisadi adalet üzerine yürütülen faaliyetlerin ve oluşturulan organizasyonların başarısızlığına bağlı olarak bireysel ve toplumsal sorunların çözümü hususunda MacIntyre’ın görüşleri sonuç bağlamında değerlendirilecektir.

Pierre Samuel du Pont de Nemours is a French-American economist, author and statesman whose contributions to economic theory and public policy had a profound impact in both Europe and the United States. As a leading defender of physiocracy, du Pont was deeply involved in the intellectual and political life of pre-revolutionary France, influencing major economic reforms and promoting the principles of free trade. Nemours’s extensive writings and policy proposals made him a key figure in the movement toward modern economic thought in the late 18th century such as Quesnay, Turgot, and Jefferson which crossed paths with historical figures. He fulfilled his mission as a representative and spokesman for physiocracy, particularly through his views on land, production, and exports. Nemours fled the turmoil of the French Revolution and settled in the United States where he played a major role in establishing the du Pont family’s industrial empire which would become the basis of American industry. This article examines Nemours’ life, his contributions to general economic theory, especially Physiocracy, his role in public administration and his legacy in both France and the United States. Pierre Samuel du Pont de Nemours, iktisadi teoriye ve kamu politikasına yaptığı katkılarla hem Avrupa’da hem de Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nde derin etki bırakan bir Fransız-Amerikalı ekonomist, yazar ve devlet adamıdır. Fizyokrasinin önde gelen bir savunucusu olarak du Pont, devrim öncesi Fransa entelektüel ve politik yaşamına derinlemesine dahil olmuş, büyük ekonomik reformları etkilemiş ve serbest ticaret ilkelerini teşvik etmiştir. Quesnay, Turgot, Jefferson gibi tarih açısından önemli olan figürlerle yolu kesişen Nemours’un 18. yüzyılın sonlarındaki kapsamlı yazıları ve politika önerileri, onu modern ekonomik düşünceye doğru hareketin kilit figürlerinden biri haline getirmiştir. Özellikle toprak, üretim ve ihracat üzerine ortaya koyduğu görüşlerle Fizyokrasi’nin sözcülerinden biri olma misyonunu yerine getirmiştir. Nemours, Fransız Devrimi’nin kargaşasından kaçıp Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’ne yerleşmiş ve burada du Pont ailesinin Amerikan endüstrisinin temel taşı haline gelecek olan endüstriyel imparatorluğunun kuruluşunda önemli bir rol oynamıştır. Bu makale, Nemours’un hayatını, başta Fizyokrasi olmak üzere genel ekonomik teoriye yaptığı katkıları, kamu yönetimindeki rolünü ve hem Fransa’da hem de Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nde bıraktığı mirası inceleme amacını taşımaktadır.

Bu çalışmada Rawls’ın Adalet Teorisi’nden türetilen öğretinin kritiğini yapan Beauchamp ve Greenberg’in görüşleri ele alınacaktır. Yaptıkları analizlere istinaden çalışmalarının adalete ve iktisadi adalete yönelik argümanları ortaya konulacaktır. Makro bağlamda toplumun, mikro ölçekte ise işletmelerde dağıtıcı iktisadi adaletin tesis edilmesi için yapılması gerekenlere dair anekdotlar sunulacaktır. In this study, the views of Beauchamp and Greenberg will be discussed who criticized the doctrine derived from Rawls’ Justice Theory. The concept of justice, allocative justice, social justice, all inclusive system and background justice, the ideal form, libertarianism and the basic structure will be examined. In the context of analyzing what they do, their arguments will be put forth as arguments for justice and economic justice. Anecdotes will be given of the needs to be made in order to establish the distributive economic justice in the macro context and the micro scale in the enterprises.

In this study, it is aimed to develop a scale for economic justice and to examine its validity and reliability. A total of 838 people participated in this study. The sample group consisted of unemployed, disabled (who are able to work), retired employees, the most disadvantaged people, minimum wage earners and uninsured workers living in different cities in Turkey. SPSS 21 and AMOS 22 programs were applied. Items with a value below 0.50 were not evaluated in the study. A three-factor structure and a 26-item scale were revealed. The correlation number of the candidate scale with the similar scale was 0.902 (p < 0.001). The Cronbach coefficient is 0.938. The test-retest correlation parameter was r = 0.802 (p < 0.001). In summary, the economic justice scale has a good fit criterion, a valid and reliable assessment tool.

Bu çalışma, Batı hukuk anlayışına yön veren isimlerden biri olan John Rawls’ın teoriden pratiğe ve küresel ölçeğe aşamalar halinde geliştirdiği Adalet Teorisi nosyonunu ‘’uluslararası iktisadi adalet’’ perspektifinde değerlendirmektedir. Dolayısıyla Halkların Yasası (The Law of Peoples) adlı eser, iktisadi adaletin uluslararası boyutu ele alınarak incelenmektedir. Rawls’a göre kendi toplumlarında iktisadi adalet sağlansa dahi dünyadan bağımsız bir yaşamın sürdürülemeyeceği gerçeğiyle yüzleşen halklar, uluslararası iktisadi adalet nosyonunun sağlayacağı faydaları ve güvenliği algılamak zorunda kalmaktadır. Uluslararası yardım görevleri ile zorluk içindeki halkların teşvik edilmesine yönelik faaliyetler önemlidir. Normatif uygulamalarla, yaptırımlarla erişilmesi zor olan uluslararası iktisadi adalet nosyonları, eşit halkların göstereceği karşılıklı hoşgörüye dayalı adil ilkelerle olası görülmektedir. This study evaluates the notion of A Theory of Justice, which John Rawls, one of the names shaping the Western concept of law, developed in stages from theory to practice and to a global scale, from the perspective of ‘’international economic justice’’. Therefore, The Law of Peoples is analyzed by considering the international dimension of economic justice. According to Rawls, people who faced with the reality that even if economic justice is achieved in their own societies, they cannot live a life independent of the world, are forced to perceive the benefits and security that the notion of international economic justice would provide. International duty of assistance and activities to encourage burdened societies are important. Notions of international economic justice which are very difficult to realize with normative practices and sanctions, seem more likely with fair principles based on tolerance that equal people will show.

Bu çalışma J. Rawls’ın Adalet Teorisi eserinde teorik bağlamda temellendirdiği ve Siyasal Liberalizm adlı çalışmasında çeşitli gerekçelendirmelerle açıkladığı kapsamlı kuramını adalet ve iktisadi adalet perspektifinde analiz etme gayesini gütmektedir. Amaca uygun şekilde ilk olarak J. Rawls’ın Siyasal Liberalizm’inin içeriği hakkında bilgi verilecektir. Sonra Rawls’ın iyi düzenlenmiş olarak öngördüğü liberal, demokratik ve anayasal yapıya sahip toplumsal organizasyonlarda istikrar için gerekli saydığı kurumlar ele alınacaktır. Buradan hareketle temel yapı içinde ahlaki hissiyata sahip özgür ve eşit kişilerin hangi ilkelerden dayanak bularak toplumsal ve ekonomik eşitsizlikleri hakkaniyete uygun şekilde sürdürülebilir addedebileceği sorusu irdelenecektir. Daha sonra çizilen çerçeve dâhilinde iktisadi adaleti tesis edeceği tasvir edilen makul ve rasyonel siyasal özne kavramı Rawls’ın ‘’makul’’ ve ‘’rasyonel’’ açıklamalarıyla birlikte değerlendirilecektir. Siyasal süreçlerin doğurduğu çatışmaları ve uzlaşmaları idrak ederek çözümleyebilen birey motifinden türeyen kolektif akıl olarak örtüşen görüş birliği ve kamusal akıl tanımlamaları analiz edilecektir. Zira Rawls’ın ortaya koyduğu teori içerisinde farklı dini, felsefi, ahlaki olmakla birlikte aynı zamanda makul (olsun veya olmasın) ve fakat karşıt kapsamlı doktrinlerin çokluğu halinde bu kavramların tatbiki birlikte yaşamanın zeminini güçlü ve işler hale getirebilecek öğeler içermektedir. Bu bilgilerden hareketle teorinin savunması şeklinde ele alınan ve Rawls’ın, Habermas’ın eleştirilerine karşı yanıtlarını içeren bölüm sonuç kapsamında açıklanacaktır. Rawls’ın Siyasal Liberalizm eserinin iktisadi boyutunun irdelenmesi günümüzde yaygın olarak görülen heterojen toplumların yapısına dair anekdotlar sunmaktadır. This study aims to analyze that J. Rawls’ comprehensive theory in the context of justice and economic justice perspective that based on the theoretical sheaf of Theory of Justice and Political Liberalism that he explained with various reasons. Within the scope of purpose first will be given informations about the content of J. Rawls’ Political Liberalism. Then will be contextualised the institutions that are considered necessary for stability in social organizations with liberal, democratic and constitutional structure which Rawls foreseen as well ordered. From this point of view will be examined the question of which principles can be considered as equitable and sustainable by social and economic inequalities by considering the principles of free and equal persons in the basic structure. Within the scope of drawn borders will be analyzed the concept of reasonable and rational political subject which will be described as establishing economic justice within the framework will be evaluated along with the ‘’reasonable’’ and ‘’rational’’ explanations of Rawls. Later on will be analyzed ‘’overlapping consensus’’ and ‘’public reason’’ definitions as the collective mind derived from the individual design that can resolve the conflicts and compromises created by political processes. Because of the theory put forward by Rawls the application of these concepts include elements that different in terms of religious, philosophical, moral but at the same time reasonable (or not) in the case of a large number of opposing doctrines that can make the basis of living together strong and functional. Based on these informations will be explained the section as the conclusion which is considered as the defense of theory and includes the responses of Rawls against Habermas’s criticism. The analysis of the economic dimension of the work of Rawls' Political Liberalism presents anecdotes about the structure of heterogeneous societies that are common these times.

In the Western world of thought, the Ottoman judicial system is evaluated as irrational based on its characterization based on patrimonialism. Patrimonial forms of action correspond to an irrational position that polarizes the understanding of rationality. The arbitrary and subjective decisions of the administration in general and the sultan in particular contain a large part of these irrational claims. It is argued that the judicial system cannot objectively and fairly evaluate the parties in disputes that occur in economic life due to the arbitrary intervention of the sultan in the judges and the processes in which the trial is carried out. It is also stated that this situation, which creates many problems in economic life, hinders economic development. Therefore, it is important to evaluate the issue from various dimensions rather than only from Western thought. On the other hand, in addition to the professional difficulty faced by the members of the judiciary who were tasked with ensuring general and economic justice in the Ottoman Empire due to the pressure of the sultan in the decisions they made, the idea that the orderly functioning of this judicial system, which has been addressed since the foundation of the state, can be ensured by the effective fulfillment of the duties of the judicial institution and its members, also comes to the fore. While a large area is already being ruled, the urgent appointment of judges and administrative officers to all newly founded or conquered cities serves this purpose. These officers who carry out the orders of Islam regarding the legal system, are considered representatives on earth regarding the implementation of Allah’s laws because of their responsibilities. Therefore, while carrying out the duties assigned to them, they are expected to apply the imperative provisions of the verses by the nature of the issues they are faced with and with just and rational justifications. The supervisory mechanism also evaluates the relevant members of the judiciary within this framework. Indeed, in terms of legal and economic dimensions, it is important whether fair and proportionate decisions are taken in the cases brought by non-Muslims against Muslims and in the cases brought by Muslims against non-Muslims. Islam, which forms the basis of the Ottoman legal system and its functioning, reveals that everyone should be considered equal before the law/judiciary, regardless of their duties, titles, functions and ranks. Therefore, everyone, including foreigners, should be subject to equal and fair treatment before the judge in judicial and administrative cases. Accordingly, in accordance with justice, decisions should be also given against Muslims in disputes between Muslims and non-Muslims. The main thing is to ensure a fair trial and systematic. In this context, it is argued that there was no arbitrary, favouritist, unprincipled or unlawful trial in Ottoman law, and this argument is based on the rejection of trial methods that cannot be considered equal and fair in cases brought by the people against the ruling class or by the ruling military class against the peasants. The aim of the research is to reveal the extent to which these claims are compatible with the facts. The border of the study is the classical period. According to the results obtained, it has been revealed that the Ottoman judicial system generally operated independently of systematic and arbitrary interventions. Therefore, it has been determined that there is a generally fair mechanism for solving the problems that arose in economic life.

Bu çalışma, Klasik Okul’un önde gelen isimlerinden biri olan David Ricardo’nun eserlerinde ele aldığı konuları, iktisadi adalet kavramı bağlamında inceleme amacına sahiptir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda öncelikle Ricardo’nun hayatı ve başlıca eserleri ele alınmaktadır. Sonrasında adalet ve iktisadi adalet üzerine yaptığı değerlendirmeler incelemektedir. En dikkat çeken eseri olan ‘’On the Principles of Political Economy and Taxation’’, bunlar üzerine çalışan çeşitli bilim insanlarının bakış açıları da dikkate alınarak iktisadi adalet perspektifiyle analiz edilmektedir. Ricardo, ekonomik politik olarak bilinen ve iktisat ile siyasetin kesişimini; piyasalar, devlet, fiyat, rant, kar, ücret gibi konular dahilinde inceleyen yöntemin en iyi uygulayıcılarından olmuştur. Sanayi devrimi İngiltere’sinin durumunu ve ekonomik yansımalarını gözler önüne seren çalışmalarıyla dikkat çekmiştir. Para, bankacılık sistemi, faiz oranı ve döviz kuru gibi konuları, klasik iktisadi düşünce mantalitesiyle analiz etmiştir. Ricardo’ya göre, sayılan bu kavramlar, iktisadi adaletin geniş kitlelere yayılmasına imkân veren ya da engelleyen araçlardır. O, toprağın fiyatının ve toprak rantının orta ve uzun vadede geçirdiği değişimin asıl sorun olduğunu ifade etmiştir ve bunun, iktisadi adaletin tesisini engelleyen olduğu yıkıcı bir etmen olduğunu söylemiştir. Serbest ticaretin faydaları üzerine geliştirdiği ‘’Karşılaştırmalı Üstünlük Teorisi’’ ile tanınırlığını artırmıştır. This study aims to examine the issues addressed in the context of the concept of economic justice in the works of David Ricardo, who is one of the leading figures of the Classical School. For this purpose, Ricardo’s life and main works are discussed. Then, his evaluations on justice and economic justice are examined. His most notable work, ‘’On the Principles of Political Economy and Taxation’’, is analyzed from the perspective of economic justice, taking into account the perspectives of various scientists who have worked on them. Ricardo is one of the best-known practitioners of the method that examines issues such as markets, state, price, rent, profit and wage which define the intersection of economics and politics, known as political economy. He gained attention for his works that revealed the situation and economic reflections of England during the Industrial Revolution. He analyzed issues such as money, the banking system, interest rates and exchange rates with the mentality of classical economic thought. According to Ricardo, these concepts are tools that enable or hinder the spread of economic justice to large masses. He argueed that the changes in the price of land and land rents in the medium and long term are key issues and that this is a destructive factor taht prevents the establishment of economic justice. He is also recognized for developing the theory of The Principle of Comparative Advantage, which emphasizes the benefits of free trade.

It is a state governed within the framework of Islamic law with its Ottoman institutions and functioning. Thought, policy and implementation processes were built in this direction. In a research on the Ottoman, Islamic law, period limitation and conditions must be taken into consideration. In this regard, this study aims to reveal how the reflection of economic thought in the field of political economy is adopted in practice. Different policies and activities can be seen in the period from its establishment until its destruction. . It has been determined that economic policies that are very different from today's conditions are reflected in practice. Traditionalism, provisionism and fiscalism, which are the basic principles of economic thought, lead to a completely human-oriented construction of political economy. Among those who emphasize this best, the reaya-sipahi relationship and the foundation system have been particularly highlighted in the light of current research and comments.

The importance that businesses place on the human factor is increasing. It is known that the human factor is affected positively or negatively by various variables in business life. The accurate determination and solution of these will increase the efficiency of the employees and thus make production and operation more effective. In this context, the study focuses on the sustainable improvement of the human factor in business life. This study aims to determine whether communicative rational action affects organizational citizenship behaviour and, if there is an effect between these two variables, to reveal whether economic justice has a moderating impact on this relationship. Economic justice and communicative rational action scales are newly added to the literature. Therefore, the number of studies on these two variables is very low. The originality of the study and its contribution to the literature are important. The sample group consists of 513 people. The participants are minimum-wage workers. The collected data were analyzed with the IBM SPSS 21 program. Multiple regression analysis and SPSS PROCESS v3.5 (model 1) methods were used in the analysis. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that communicative rational action has a positive effect on organizational citizenship behaviour. As a result, it was revealed that economic justice has a moderating role in the relationship between communicative rational action and organizational citizenship behaviour.

Bu çalışmada, Fransız entelektüel dünyasında kendine yer edinmiş ve Fizyokrasi’nin kurucusu olarak kabul edilen François Quesnay’ın eserlerinde ele aldığı konular, iktisadi adalet perspektifi içerisinde incelenmektedir. Mutlak monarşiye dayalı sömürgeci imparatorluk anlayışının, merkantilist politikalarla bezeli aşırı korumacı ticaret mantalitesinin zirve yaptığı bir çağda, tarıma ve insana tekrar önem verilmesi gerektiğini gösteren Quesnay’ın çalışmaları incelenmeye değer bilgiler içermektedir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda öncelikle Quesnay’ın hayatı, eserleri, doğal yasa üzerine fikirleri, iktisadi adalete yönelik görüşleri ele alınmaktadır. Sonrasında en dikkat çeken çalışması olan Ekonomik Tablo, Quesnay üzerine çalışan çeşitli araştırmacıların bakış açıları da dikkate alınarak analiz edilmektedir. Quesnay’ın adalet, iktisadi adalet, vergi türleri ve hadleri, faiz oranları, uluslararası ticaret yöntemleri üzerine sunduğu bilgiler, geçmişten günümüze geniş bir bakış açısıyla değerlendirildiğinde daha adil bir sistem inşası çeşitli öğeler barındırmaktadır. Quesnay için toprak sahipleri ile çiftçiler arasında kimsenin kimseyi soymadığı doğal düzen olduğu temeline dayanan bir yapı vardır. Tüm ekonominin belirleyicisi olduğu bir düzeni tesis eden yapıyı işler hale getiren tarım; diğer sektörleri besler, zenginleştirir ve bu şekliyle iktisadi adaleti de sağlayan adil düzeni mümkün kılmaktadır. In this study the issues addressed are examined from the perspective of economic justice in the works of François Quesnay who has gained a place in the French intellectual world and is considered the founder of Physiocracy. Quesnay’s works which show that agriculture and people should be given importance again, contain information worth examining in an age when the understanding of colonial empire based on absolute monarchy, mercantilist policies and overprotective trade mentality is at its peak. In line with this purpose, Quesnay’s life, works, ideas on natural law, and views on economic justice are discussed first. Afterwards, his most notable work, the Economic Table (Tableau Economique) is analyzed by taking into account the perspectives of various researchers working on Quesnay. When evaluated from a broad perspective from past to present, the information that Quesnay provides on justice, economic justice, tax types and limits, interest rates, and international trade methods contains various elements for the construction of a more just system. For Quesnay, there is a structure between landowners and farmers based on the basis that there is a natural order in which no one robs anyone. Agriculture, which makes the structure functional that establishes an order in which the entire economy is determined; It nourishes and enriches other sectors and in this way makes possible a fair order that also ensures economic justice.

This study examines the representations of economic justice, class relations, and its connection to political power in the Final Fantasy XVI. The process of crystal production and distribution, the economic power of the aristocratic class, and the resulting dominance over the people, are analyzed, revealing how justice is violated. Character-focused analyses -Clive, Joshua, Jill, Cidolfus, and Ultima- assess the impact of individual journeys on the economic order. The game offers a rich example for conceptualizing social inequalities and exploring the multidimensional nature of economic justice.

Bu çalışmada Skolastik düşüncenin iki önemli ismi Thomas Aquinas ve Pierre Abelard’ın eserlerinden hareketle iktisadi adaletin tesisine yönelik sunduğu görüşler incelenecektir. Bu amaçla ilk olarak Aquinas’ın adalet, iktisadi adalet, ahlak, iyi ve kötü, adil fiyat (justum pretium), siyasal canlı (zoon politikon) ve mutluluk üzerine ortaya koyduğu görüşler ele alınacaktır. Sonra Pierre Abelard’ın adalet, iktisadi adalet, ahlak, erdem, mantık, etik, kendini bilme ve rasyonel düşünme üzerine düşünceleri irdelenecektir. Geçmişten güncele Aquinas ve Abelard’ın değerlendirmelerinin daha adil bir sistem inşası için ihtiva ettiği hususlar açıklanacaktır. In this study will be examined ideas about establishing economic justice with the help of the works of two important names of scholastic thought Thomas Aquinas and Pierre Abelard. For the purpose, first will be discussed Aquinas' opinions on justice, economic justice, morality, good and bad, just price (justum pretium), political being (zoon politikon), and happiness. Then will be examined Pierre Abelard's thoughts on justice, economic justice, morality, virtue, logic, ethics, self-knowledge and rational thinking. From the past to the present, will be expressed the issues that Aquinas and Abelard have included for a more just system construction.

Bu çalışmada adaletin iktisadi boyutu ele alınmaktadır. Adalet Aristo’dan beri değerlerin değeri olarak kabul edilmiştir. Bu konuda hem Tevrat’ta ve Kur’an’da hem de Doğulu ve Batılı düşünürlerin eserlerinde adaletin içeriği hakkında görüşler sunulmuştur. Yirminci yüzyılda adalet konusunda en kapsamlı çalışmayı yapanlardan biri olarak J. Rawls’ ın kuramı ilgili literatürde büyük bir etki ortaya çıkarmıştır. O da adaleti Aristo gibi diğer değerlere öncelemiş, her şeyin faydacılık uğruna feda edildiği bir ortamda adaleti vurgulayıp faydacılığa karşı çıkmıştır. Rawls, Kantçı geleneğe tabi olarak insanın başkalarının çıkarı için araçsallaştırılmaması, amaç olarak görülmesi gerektiğini vurgulamıştır. Rawls, yaşadığı çağdaki aşırı pozitivizmin baskısı altında adaleti temellendirirken Kant’tan farklı bir yöntem seçmiştir. Kant’ın numenal-aşkın-metafizik boyutlu yöntemi yerine Rawls, ampirik “fıtrat durumu’’(orginal pozition) analojisinden hareket etmiştir. Sandel’in ifadesiyle “metafiziksiz bir liberalizm’’kurmaya çalışmıştır. Rawls insan beni ile niteliklerini birbirinden ayırarak değişmelerden etkilenmeyen bir ben’i savunmuştur. Bu yaklaşım iktisadi adalet açısından kişinin niteliklerinin ortak sosyal bir değer olduğu, kişiyi ödüllendirme ya da cezalandırma aracı olarak görülmemesi sonucunu doğurmaktadır. Dolayısıyla gelir ve servet, toplumdaki en dezavantajlı durumda olanların en avantajlı çıkacağı şekilde dağıtılmalıdır.

In this study, the issues addressed are examined in the context of the concept of economic justice in the works of Adam Smith who is considered the founder of the Classical School. Smith has gained a reputation for himself with his intellectual knowledge and studies in the field of economics in Britain and hence all over the world. In an age when the colonialist empire mentality and overprotective trade mentality adorned with mercantilist policies were at their peak, his handling of basic issues such as free trade, labor market, opposition to monopolies and his works on economic justice contain information worth examining. For this purpose, Smith’s life and major works are discussed first. Then, his evaluations on justice and economic justice are examined. His most notable works, The Theory of Moral Sentiments and The Wealth of Nations are analyzed from the perspective of economic justice, taking into account the perspectives of various researchers working on them.

This study examines the representation of economic justice in A Plague Tale: Innocence (2019) and A Plague Tale: Requiem (2022) through a narrative and political-economic analysis that considers the games as both cultural texts and interactive economic products. Set in plague-ravaged medieval France, the games stage feudal oppression, resource monopolization, and class violence. Combining narrative theory, political economy of media, and critical game studies, the article examines how ludonarrative design, character arcs, and environmental storytelling render systemic inequality and ethical dilemmas for protagonists Amicia and Hugo. Their journey through war-torn villages, aristocratic estates, and plague-infested cities foregrounds a systemic critique of class-based privilege and dispossession. The siblings’ efforts to protect one another are framed against a world where institutions (religious, political, and economic) have abdicated moral responsibility. Gameplay mechanics and level design juxtapose elite control of resources with peasant precarity, framing economic justice as both redistribution and an ethical response to violence, institutional failure, and social alienation. The analysis also situates the titles within industry conditions by assessing their production by Asobo Studio and distribution by Focus Entertainment, arguing that market positioning within the mid-tier budget segment complicates the games’ critical stance. By tracing how interactive mechanics implicate players in morally ambiguous choices, the study shows that these works dramatize crisis capitalism, austerity, and institutional collapse while offering a space for resistance and moral reflection. The findings contribute to understanding video games as cultural commodities that simultaneously critique and participate in political-economic structures.
