I am a PhD candidate at the Department of Philosophy at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. My areas of specialty are: Philosophy of Science, Philosophy of Biology and Data ethics. I specialize in epistemological questions in the philosophy of biology, with a special interest in evolutionary-developmental biology.

I am currently writing a manuscript-based thesis addressing evolutionary causation (more specifically interventionism, downward causation and reciprocal causation). I am also a researcher in data ethics, where I assess the epistemic harms stemming from the widespread commoditization of direct-to-consumer genetic tests.
