Yu Yang, a lecturer, earned a Bachelor of Arts in art design from Jiangnan University in China (2010), a Master of Arts in visual arts from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia in Italy (2018), and a PhD in Art Studies at the University of Lisbon’s Faculty of Fine Arts (10 Jan. 2023. Final mark obtained: “Approved with Distinction”). His areas of research interest include film narrative (especially from the mid-1990s to the first decade of the 21st century), film iconography, Chinese poetic film, and intangible cultural heritage. Since 2023, he has been a lecturer at the School of Fine Arts of Zhengzhou University.
