Chen Yuehua is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Philosophy, Wuhan University. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Tsinghua University and has served as a Visiting Scholar at Yale University. His main research interests focus on religious studies theory, Christian philosophy, late ancient Greek philosophy, and medieval philosophy, esp. Augustine, Plotinus, Ambrose, Boethius. He has presided over 3 projects supported by the National Social Science Fund and 3 provincial/ministerial-level fund projects (including those under the Ministry of Education). In terms of academic publications, he has released 2 monographs and 3 translations of ancient classics.
