My research lies at the intersection of the philosophy of language, the philosophy of logic, and metaphysics, focusing on the concept of truth and its relations to meaning, objectivity, and assertoric practices. I critically examine robust theories of truthmakers and defend a form of ontological and pragmatic minimalism according to which explaining truth requires neither positing a special metaphysical property nor introducing entities whose function is to make propositions true. The investigation reconstructs this role in terms of truth conditions and the inferential relations that articulate propositional content.
