I am currently (as of Spring 2022) a Visiting Assistant Professor of Practice in Philosophy at New York University, Shanghai. I work primarily at the intersections of metaphysics and the philosophy of physics. My main interest is in the metaphysics of quantitative physical properties (like mass, charge, length, etc.). In Summer 2016, I defended a dissertation on this topic—specifically, on the connections between physical quantities, mereology, and dynamical laws of nature—for the philosophy department at NYU.
