As coronavirus disease 2019 swept the world in early 2020, all the Chinese universities and colleges adopted online learning to fulfill the directive saying “classes suspended but learning continues.” Understanding the impact of this large-scale online learning experience on the future online learning intention of Chinese university students can help design better blended-learning activities. This study applies flow experience and theory of planned behavior to construct a theoretical framework for assumption making and the assumptions made are validated by data gained from questionnaires. A total of 6,933 students from 54 institutions in China participated in the investigation, with 5,456 valid questionnaires returned. This study employs partial least squares regression and confirmative factor analysis to analyze and estimate the measurement model and the structural model. The results indicate that the experience of home-based learning significantly influenced the attitudes of Chinese university students, which in turn had a positive influence on their intention to continue online learning. The research findings provide a theoretical framework and practical guidelines on building a scientific online learning platform with appropriate online learning environments and tasks for a post-COVID-19 era blended-learning in Chinese universities.

Philosophical practice is a new paradigm in philosophy, which encompasses one-on-one counselling, group facilitation, organisational consultation and philosophy with children, among other modalities. It transcends practical philosophy as a vital approach connecting philosophical inquiry with everyday life. This article compares Socratic and Confucian philosophical practice styles, focusing on the application in one-to-one consultation settings. Through three illustrative case studies addressing common human experiences – work and study challenges, relationship issues and life transitions – we analyse the methodologies and competencies inherent in both traditions. Each case is examined through the lens of questioning, interpreting and understanding, highlighting how practitioners from Socratic and Confucian backgrounds approach clients’ concerns. Our comparative analysis reveals that while both traditions share fundamental principles such as self-cultivation, the development of virtues and the use of exemplars, they diverge in practice styles and underlying methodologies. The Socratic method emphasises individual self-discovery through critical questioning and dialogue, fostering personal autonomy and intellectual inquiry. In contrast, the Confucian approach underscores moral cultivation in a communal context, emphasising social harmony, adherence to rituals (li 禮) and fulfilment of societal roles. The study underscores the potential for integrating these approaches to enrich philosophical counselling practices. By blending Socratic reflective dialogue with Confucian emphasis on relationships and moral development, philosophical practitioners can offer more holistic and culturally sensitive counselling experiences. This integration not only enhances the efficacy of philosophical consultations, but also contributes to a more inclusive understanding of philosophy as a way of life that transcends cultural boundaries.

This paper presents a comparative analysis of Confucian and Socratic philosophical practices, emphasizing their application in one-on-one counseling sessions. The study begins with an exploration of the origins and development of both traditions, highlighting their philosophical sources, practical methodologies, social impacts, and professional advancements. Through a detailed comparison, it identifies the similarities and differences between the Confucian emphasis on ritual propriety and moral cultivation and the Socratic focus on critical inquiry and self-examination. The integration of these approaches is proposed to enrich philosophical counseling, offering a more holistic and culturally sensitive practice. By envisioning the figure of a philosophical counselor who embodies both traditions, the paper suggests a model that fosters personal growth, ethical living, and societal harmony. The study concludes by acknowledging limitations and proposing future research directions, including empirical studies on the effectiveness of integrated counseling methods, exploration of group practices, cross-cultural adaptations, professional training, and the incorporation of modern technology. This research contributes to the literature on cross-cultural philosophical engagement and its applications in contemporary counseling practices.

Hemispherical Resonator Gyro is a new type gyro with high precision, high reliability, shock resistance, no need of preheating, short start time, and long life. It is a kind of vibrating gyro with standing wave rotating along the sensitive base of annular precession, has a unique application prospect in the field of high precision inertial sensors, and is widely used in unmanned aerial vehicle control in complex environments. Based on the theory of the structure characteristics of the hemispherical resonator, the mathematical model of energy of the resonator is established to research the rule of resonant frequency when the hemispherical resonator is rotated around the central axis. In this paper, the influence of precession factor, which are the top angle, the bottom angle, and wall unevenness of the hemispherical resonator, are analyzed. A series of hemispherical resonator models are constructed by ANSYS software to prove the results of theoretical research. The simulation results show that precession factor of the hemispherical resonator is more sensitive of the top angle than the bottom angle, and the error of angular velocity which is caused by the change of the top angle is larger than that which is caused by the change of the bottom angle.

© CERN for the benefit of the ATLAS collaboration 2011.We present first measurements of charged and neutral particle-flow correlations in pp collisions using the ATLAS calorimeters.Data were collected in 2009 and 2010 at centre-of-mass energies of 900 GeV and 7 TeV.Events were selected using a minimum-bias trigger which required a charged particle in scintillation counters on either side of the interaction point.Particle flows, sensitive to the underlying event, are measured using clusters of energy in the ATLAS calorimeters, taking advantage of their fine granularity.No Monte Carlo generator used in this analysis can accurately describe the measurements.The results are independent of those based on charged particles measured by the ATLAS tracking systems and can be used to constrain the parameters of Monte Carlo generators.

The research object of this subject, through cooperation with Shanghai International Fashion Education Center, a fashion travel education institution, is a convenient sample for the members of its “Japan Fashion Travel Project,” using quantitative research methods and research tools for questionnaires. From the perspective of tourist shopping experience marketing, this paper studies the relationship among tourist marketing, value perception, shopping satisfaction, and customer loyalty to outlets, and discusses the recommendations for sustainable development of outlets.

As people’s lives get better and better, more and more people choose to travel and with that comes the demand for more transportation. For now, traditional transportation hubs can temporarily meet people’s travel needs. If driven by big data concepts and methods, the various capabilities of high-speed rail transportation hubs will be sublimated, and the regional economy will be in line with the prosperity of this place. Proportionally, railway hubs are extremely attractive to the rapid growth of the regional economy. This paper takes the high-speed railway hub construction model under big data as the research object and verifies the reliability of the research model and the development of economic regions based on the high-speed railway data in recent years as reference parameters. This article selects the panel data of railway transportation and regional economy in China’s provinces for 10 consecutive years from 2011 to 2020. Among them, seven indicators were selected for railway transportation: passenger volume, freight volume, passenger turnover, cargo turnover, number of railway employees, railway transportation industry fixed asset investment and construction scale, and per capita railway network density. In terms of regional economy, six indicators were selected: regional GDP, per capita GDP, per capita investment in fixed assets, per capita total retail sales of consumer goods, per capita investment in imports and exports, and the proportion of the added value of the tertiary industry in GDP. The experimental results prove that each sample is tested in pairs, the standard error level of the mean is 0.002, which is less than 0.05, and high-speed railway construction can finally achieve economic integration. By improving the development of high-speed railways, continuously shortening the distance between time and space, breaking regional trade barriers, and reducing the cost of commodity circulation, industrial interaction and coordinated development between different regions can be effectively promoted.
