Abstract Background: War remains one of humanity’s most persistent and destructive phenomena. Conventional analyses often attribute war to political, economic, or cultural causes, yet these fail to explain its recurrence as a systemic human behavior. Objective: This paper applies The Three Universal Formula (Malicse, 2025)—a natural law framework based on the universal law of balance—to explain the underlying mechanisms of war and identify pathways toward sustainable peace. Method: A qualitative analytical approach is used, integrating the Three Universal Laws—the Law of Balance, the Law of Cause and Effect, and the Law of Interconnectedness—with historical and contemporary examples. The framework is interpreted through systems theory, ecological balance, and moral philosophy. Results: Findings indicate that war originates from violations of natural equilibrium within human societies. Political, economic, and ideological imbalances act as catalysts for conflict, while post-war periods serve as natural rebalancing processes. Educational and policy systems grounded in the natural law of balance can prevent such imbalances before they escalate into violence. Conclusion: War is not random but the inevitable result of imbalance within the collective human system. True peace requires aligning human consciousness, governance, and education with nature’s universal principles of balance and feedback.

Abstract This study explores the evolving dynamics of trust, bias, and disinformation in Philippine media as of 2025. Using data from the Media-Meter Trust Index (2025), Pahayag Q1 Trust Survey, Media Bias/Fact Check (MBFC), and other credible organizations, the analysis compares the trust ratings and factual reporting quality of major Filipino news outlets. Findings reveal that traditional media institutions such as GMA-7, Manila Bulletin, Philippine Daily Inquirer, and The Philippine Star continue to enjoy higher public confidence compared to primarily digital platforms. However, overall trust in news media has declined, largely due to misinformation on social media and perceived political bias. The study concludes that collaborative fact-checking efforts, editorial transparency, and stronger media literacy education are essential to rebuilding public trust and sustaining democratic integrity.

Abstract The major religions of the world originated as transformative movements aimed at restoring moral, social, and spiritual equilibrium among human beings. Their founders—figures such as Jesus Christ, Siddhartha Gautama (the Buddha), Prophet Muhammad, and Confucius—articulated principles of compassion, justice, and inner balance that aligned closely with nature’s inherent order. Yet, over centuries, these teachings were repeatedly distorted as followers reinterpreted, institutionalized, and politicized them. This paper investigates how the legacies of these founders were altered through historical processes such as dogmatization, power consolidation, translation errors, and psychological projection. It further analyzes these distortions through Angelito Malicse’s three universal laws of nature: (1) the Law of Karma (cause, effect, and system integrity), (2) the Law of Balance (dynamic equilibrium of opposing forces), and (3) the Law of Feedback (natural corrective mechanisms).
